So I had to harvest early cause the OG KUSH 18 was starting to stink up my place and discretion is the better part of valor...On that note I ended up with 1 plant of OG Kush that I vegged for 1 month, then flowered for 8 weeks. I really wish I could have flowered a bit longer but I think I ended up with a decent harvest. I grew under 9 23w CFLS vegged at 18/6 and flowered under 12/12. I grew in fox farms soil and used smartpots along with fox farms nutes for veg and MG nutes for flower. Temp was a consistent 72 and humidity went from 40 to close to 60 (after watering). I grew in a home made box that I stuck in a closet. 260 grams wet. I admit I'm new to growing, but any constructive criticism is welcome.

I know that you had to take them early but those things still have a lot of time left. I bet they would have plumped out a lot more. Get some carbon filters and go the full time!

i tried making one using the carbon filters for fish tanks...It didn't work too well with the pc fans i was using, didn't move enough air, and I did not want to spend any more $$$...I know man it broke my heart to chop, they were starting to really put on some weight lately

Gonna say the same exact thing. Looks good for cutting them early though. It should still be some good smoke....Good job man...

I know you didnt want to spend anymore money, but for 45-50 bucks you could build this carbon filter here: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=51843

Then connect it to one of these inline fans here:http://www.menards.com/main/heating-cooling/ductwork/indoor-air-quality/6-round-in-line-duct-fan/p-113772-c-6872.htm
For 45-50 bucks you have a 6" filter thats any length you want with a fan. Works great. You could even build a 4" one instead for a little cheaper, since you have a smaller grow area.....Just a thought

I feel a twinge of pain for you lol. They definitely had a ways to go but those are huge for cfls. It'll probably still get you high as a kite dont know about taste though, mite taste like crap

Sucks early chop. You did good though and like the box. 1/3 of 260g's is .....86g's. dry. Roughly. Nice haul with CFL's. Is that with the stems too?

ya i saw that plan and really considered building that filter. Its all good thought, for personal use I'm not too concerned, rather have an oz or two of herb harvested too early, then none at all....

ya its still got the stems, like leaving them on for the dry and cure. I tried out a clipping i took a couple days ago, and it tastes pretty good, and a couple of hits does it for me, so I am happybongsmilie...Also I just wanna say thank you RIU, I learned everything on this site and I think I am starting to get better at my new hobby. Hopefully I can take my 4th grow all the way.
