And it has handles!!
yea it does!!!! it makes it very easy to move around!!! plus it also has plenty of places to tie LST wires from if needed!!!

nice bro, looks good. and bump!

thats great!!! LoL
Thanks CD!! i ahve always wanted to try one of these since i first read about it!!!

What the fuck, putting clones out in august. I'm jealous of your weather.
But at least I get the four seasons sucker!

Looks great, I love the ease in it.
Going to make yourself a set?

Looks great stoney, quality clone.
How about another veg update eh?
hahaha no man, I'm not putting her outside..... i sometimes do my transplanting outdoors to keep the mess down. plus it gives them a little sun time!!! a few hours later and she was put in the flowering cabinet. I live in the north east, so in a few months that area will be covered in snow.

I'm gonna try this one out for a bit to see how it works for me before i invest in an entire set. I only have a total of six milk crates, so if i go all out with them, I'm gonna need to find some more of them....

I'll put a veg update together later tonight... I have an eye doctor appt. in about an hour so I'll take some pics and get a head count of what i have when i get back this afternoon.

I got it from a garden center very close to my house. I saw it at walmart today when i was looking for other things, i think it was like $15 for a 75ft roll, i think the roll is 3ft tall... they also sold milk crate containers for $2.50 each (on sale) they are a little smaller than mine, but i bet they would work great... i didn't buy any though. i know they sell different grades of the stuff. i use mine to put over my vegetable garden, then just cut an X to to make a hole to put the plant in and no weeds grow up through it.

yea, i thought the same thing... that's a lot of work to drill holes in buckets. but yea, it holds more than 5 gallons of soil... if i filled it all the way up it would have been about 8 gallons. the crates i saw at walmart were a little smaller.... they might be the perfect size!! I'm really liking having handles on them!!!! i just need to find some sort of drip tray for it....

wouldnt 8 gals of dirt be better than 5? man they would fit better in a square room. lol
yea, you're right it is better, but damn that's a lot of soil!!!!! they would fit nicely in a square room. and the cost compaired to buying them is much lower!!! after I put the soil in, I cut the extra fabric off of the corners... I should have left them on, it would make it much easier to lift it out come havest time....

Milk crates are sweet as hell aren't they? They're awesome because you can stack them nicely and even out your canopy to get max light penetration. I only have one in my box but I could use a dozen lol. Wal Mart eh? I think I'm gonna check that out thanks stoney! Still don't have a dollar tree hat, wonder if they still have them? My bubble gum might like one.

Stoney! what's up man? I need a little electrician advise ;) The wiring from my ballast to my igniter is only about a foot and a half long, and is forcing me to keep my ballast inside of the closet. I know it probably isn't a very complex question, but what kind of wires should I ask for when I go to the home improvement store? My temps average about 88-90 in my box right now, which keep my DWC res temps at and average of 82 :/

I wasn't real sure if the second pictures was necessary, but I went ahead and threw it in there anyway. √

good luck with it stoney. hope it works good. will be kewl to see this start to finish.
thanks man, I'll be sure and keep all of you posted... I watered her for the first time today. i never used this much soil in one container, so i wasn't sure how much to give her. i didn't want to soak her, so i went just enough to feel the material get damp... it was kind of cool to be able to feel the bottom of the container for wetness!! huge plus there!!!!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my grow!! I wsh RIU would let me edit the first page.... I don't grow with CFL's anymore. I now grow with all LED's. Nothing really changed though, my times are sill the same. But when i did veg with all CFL's i would veg about 4-6 weeks after the clones rooted and were transplanted. they are about 14"-24" at this point. If they are very bushy they only get about 12" tall then i flower them. The key with CFL's is keeping the all around the plant because penitration is not good. just keep em close and flower with 2700K and they work great!!! they grow monster hard buds!!!! CFL's ain't no joke!!! and you can add 100 watts at any time for $10!!!!

Thanks for stopping by and take some rep with ya!!!

oh believe me, i haven't given up on supercropping by any means!!! i know i will be trying it again, i just want to make sure i do it right next time!!!

another great idea, ill be waiting on the update.
Thanks AV!!!

that should be an easy and cheap one to fix... i agree getting your ballast out of the grow room is a must!!! I'm glad you took the second pic... it showed me that the wire is stranded and not solid core ( at least i hope the mfg wouldn't have used a wire nut to connect stranded and solid together!) but what you want to get is standard power cord. i suggest getting a 12/3. that stands for 12 guage(AWG(american wire guage)) three conductor. I know your ballast only uses two wires but the metal conduit acts as a ground wire. so when you replace it, you won't need the conduit just three conductor wire. you will use the third wire to ground the two together (I'll go into detail if you need more help on this) you should be able to get 20 foot out of that size. if you need to go further you might want to look at 10/3. If the extra cost is manageable for ya, then just buy the 10/3. it will be safer. you might need a few wire nuts that are big enough to connect the two.

here is a link to what you want(or at least similar)

now thats multi quoting!!!lmao
hahaha all kinds of traffic yesterday!!!

As all of you know I have been stepping up my game in few area's..... first the cabinet, then lights, real nutes, now bigger containers, soon i will have big genetics!!! so what did i leave out... ventalation.... I have been running with one of those weak 4" booster duct fans. It has been working well, but with another led panel on the way, i'm gonna need to get more air movement. so I installed a new fan. it is one of those squirrel cage types. it is still 4" but it is a double cage fan, so there is two 4" outputs. I just drilled another hole in my cabinet and window plate and hung it from some chain and an hour later i was all done!!!!

the best part was, i already had the fan laying around, and it was an old hepa filter so it has three speeds, a timer, and has a built in ionizer. so if it gets to cold this winter i can exhaust it right into the basement and not worry about smells!!! here are a couple quick picks...

thats sweet,epecailly with 3 speeds
hell yea, three speeds will be nice to have.... in the past i would put tape over the vent to block air speed, now i can just turn the knob!! I won't be able to check it out with the lights on till later tonight, but i'm sure it will be better.

I was just about to send you a PM.... I looked at both of my panels and they do have some diodes that are dim. they are all in a pattern. it is weird how in that photo you posted that one panel has them out and the other two don't... must be in the photo or something. I don't think my panel shipped yet... mike hasn't responded to email at all and it's been almost a week, maybe he is on vacation or something...
