update pics: 24 hours after raising lights....note how the leaves have gone from kinda curling up and droopy, To lifting up to the light....spreading out to collect the light:)....and it grew a 1/2 inch....I think it looks much happier:).:)

What are you using as a reflector? I believe that will cause hot spots on your plants and could be a problem in the future. Reflective is good, but you want it to diffuse the light. Otherwise it focuses little laser beams at the plant.

Your plant looks much better! Very nice very nice. Keep it up, Keep us posted!

Peace

I cut a piece of plywood the same size as my closet and wrapped it with mylar and then mounted six 2' T5 HO Flouros

I think maybe in the beginning light was too close but close internodal growth is fucken great , i had mine close gave me some awesome plants dude , so i definitely recommend keepin it as close as possible without burning them, who wants a stretchy plant with fewer branches sort of goes against the principle don't you think?

short and bushy yes but the closer the nodes the longer it will take to grow.. i mean it wont shoot up as fast u know...see if he puts the light futrther theyll stretch and get huge in no time... but with all the nodes spread out...u put it closet the nodes stay together which would make the plant smaller which is what u want...anyways leave it close try letting the rock wool dry out before watering this will help root growth which intail will make ur plant grow good luck...keep it short and fat ull like it better if their mothers dont matter if u strech or not.

I figure out why they are so small....My bran new PH meter was defective and it was reading my PH at three points higher than it actually was....After trying to calibrate it with no success, the store owner replaced if for free:)....I'm suprized my plants aren't dead...I've been adjusting water to 5.8 which was actually 2.8 because of the bad meter...I was putting in way too much ph down which was screwing up the reading on my TDS meter...I got some distilled water which is close to 7.0 PH and zero PPM....All is good now and my babies are in their new hydro farms today:)

Have you started to add nutrients yet? Your plants look like they're begging to be fed. Mine looked like that and growth slowed a ton. The lower leaves are yellowing and dying because your plant needs some nitrogen. Definitely start adding nutrients now if you haven't already. Since you mentioned your water is 0 ppm I'm assuming you haven't added anything yet. Those babies will take off like crazy and you're gonna flip out when you see the amazing growth spurt! :-) Oh and as far as the lights you really should be able to keep them within a couple inches as long as it's not too hot. I've never used T5's, but I used T12's and CFL's and could keep them super close. But watch out, once you feed them they're gonna explode so maybe you should keep them slightly further until you see how much it grows in a day!

It's amazing what a couple of days of TLC will do....Pic on the left is a couple days after I fixed my PH cotastrophy. She is less than 3 inches and has 8 branches that are sprouting under those big fan leaves:).
