The length of time it's exposed to light doesn't seem to have anything to do with whether or not a plant grows its full compliment of lobes per leaf or not. What does seem to have a lot to do with it is whether or not it's a clone, how stressed it may have been, and possibly the strain. I keep seeing AK47 plants that have the funkiness.

Either way, it's just a phenotypic expression, not a disease or a problem with the plant that really needs to be worried about. It's more like having an extra (or missing) finger or toe. Looks weird, but you're still normal and healthy.

I have three little plants that were terribly root bound when I got them. They were like 3 inches tall, but over a month and a half old. I stuck them in the ground and they shot straight up and are super skinny and only have three fingered leaves as well. They are all flowering now and seem healthy, other than the fact that they are tiny, stretched, have three fingered leaves and won't produce much if anything, but its still fun to watch them grow. I am actually hoping that they will be giving me some seeds, since I left the male right next to them too.
