@nfhiggs Congratulations on founding your company!
Are you just going to sell stripes or finished lights aka kits? Strip based only, or even boards and COB's?

Do not forget to send me the link when you're finally online ..

For now its just going to be strip based "plug and play" builds and kits.
Yea! Should be enough!
To date, if one is looking for the most efficient way to optimally illuminate a certain surface, sooner or later they all will end up with strips. I'm not the only one who fully recommends strips for grow lights.
Are you going to become an advertiser like @diyled? Some advertising here could be helpful to generate the first few orders. It would be nice when we could "officially" recommend your store to people who are interested.

Yeah, I already asked the mods about that - I'll probably get that started next week.

Good luck with the new venture @nfhiggs.

Constant advertising aint worth it on here. Do a month just so people know who you are and what you sell then cancel it. You'll see for yourself the referrals start out great then drop to nothing.

He'll probably ship to europe but expect high shipping cost and additional 20% custom fees.
For peeps like you (and me, btw) the best way is to get the strips from digikey.
You only have to add 19% VAT to your final price, but that's normal. Digikey shows only net prices, VAT will be different from country to country. There is not other way when you purchase on international level.

I got my strips for instance from arrow with a 20%! discount code but they splitted the items on two packages and shipped them with UPS and UPS wants 25$ extra fees for every package for the customs clearance.
In the end this destroyed almost all I've saved before! Next time I'll get them from digikey again, they use dhl, will add VAT and when they do, there is no need for any custom fees or custom clearance. A lot easier!
