Just started organic growing. All soil and organic amendments. I thought I had a nitrogen deficiency on my smaller vegging plants but after top dressing with some ewc they got better briefly. Now the lower leaves have turned from yellow to red.

Did I miss something? Any advice/insight is greatly appreciated.

I never ever had any plants that look like that but it looks like you just dug up some dirt in the backyard & put your plants in it. That soil surely doesn't have much if any drainage to it.

It's a custom blended mix of organic living soil. It had pumice, biochar, and rice hulls for drainage.

I wish the soil in my state looked that good ;)

Also top dressed with ewc and that may be the texture you are noticing.
