This year's grow

my gf gave me 10 seeds at the beginning of this year, and since i now have my own private backyard i decided to grow them for shits & giggles. all ten germinated and were doing well to about 8 inches, and then one day four were sick and wilted - happened overnight, with no apparent reason.
i removed these and then about 1 week later four more succumbed to the same fate. (no bugs; no fungus under the microscope; well taken care of, and 50 other garden plants in the greenhouse with no problems, just the cannabis plants). that left me with only two, and after a while i was able to definitively determine that one was a male, so it got culled.

that left me with only one child, and man, it turned out to be a beauty. :D
still got one more week and then a flush 'till harvest, so I'm still expecting lots more sugar. :weed:

PS just had a brutal storm last night that lasted for hours (with hail, fire and brimstone), and it washed away a lot of the trichomes. >:(

Really? I thought being up in Canada would get me to the end of September, at best. Hell, yeah, if i can hold out 'till mid October that would be awesome.

I was under the impression that when nights drop below 13C (which I'm starting to hit), it's time to pull the plant. Is that correct?

What is the lowest temperature that the plants will survive at, without having to worry about it?

Well. If you have to harvest early. You have to. But pointless IMO. Early weed is just as good as not having weed at all. It’s your plant. Good luck

It's the night time Temps im worried about. It drops down to 53F, with the day time still averaging around a nice 75F. Im gonna try and push it, then, and put a thick layer of mulch down to protect the root system, as the ol' girl looks very healthy still, and doesn't seem to be effected yet by the cool nights.

Anyone else have experience around these temperature ranges?

Iv grown in 110+F. And down as low as 25F last year with my Hindu which iv cloned and kept going still. But she’s a landrace indica that I’m sure is able to handle temps that low

You'll be alright, your plants will make threw a few light frost, it's a hard freeze that will do them in. I am in Maine and my plants hit frost evey year before the chop.

32 is freezing
I know the Fahrenheit system quite well, as i grew up with it. I use and convert to Fahrenheit in the Summer a lot of times, as i know the reference of 72-75 being perfect, non-desert temperatures ;), and then in the Winter i switch to the local Celsius system, as freezing is at 0C, which is very easy to correlate to when deciding if i want to go out or not.

PS A close friend of mine's mother lives in California, so we head down there once and a while and get a couple of free rounds in at the Desert Dunes GC, where she works. Golfing in sunny 95-100F weather - man, that's the cat's pyjamas. The air is so dry you don't even notice it or work up a sweat.

We learn both in school. Same for kilometers and miles. I use Fahrenheit by choice because most equipment in the us are based in F. But my brains auto tuned to 0 degrees being freezing and -1 below

we drive in kilometers, but i have to convert to Miles Per Gallon to know what mileage i'm getting for my car. the KM equivalent is based on some formulation or derivative of L's/100KM. What kind of a hair-brained system is that, I asks ya? Why didn't they just keep it simple, like KM's per L? SMH

Harvested all of the crystal candy and gorilla girl. Tropicanna poison, white widow & blueberry still going (9x plants).

Drying room is completely filled and a makeshift drying room was made and filled.

Crystal candy and gorilla girl drying bud (yes leaf material was left behind to extend the drying time)
