Interesting. Wonder what precipitated the vote to ammend their Constitution to disallow the black vote?

gonna go out on a limb here cuz i have no idea what precipitated this, they had a bunch of people claiming to be cherokees but werent. probably trying to get to the fed money/entitlements.

i might be totally off base but the way it sounded to me, it was all about the money.

i've got somewhere between 1/16 and 1/64 Cherokee in me and have thought of pursuing membership for that very reason. Make the entitlements enticing enough and "they will come".

does every black person just look to screw other races in order to get some sort of 'free ride'?? is that your opinion??

the black folks in question have lived on indian land, and shared customs with indian peoples for over 200 years. this was a move to preserve the indian race, thus a RACIST move by the cherokee nation....

of course it's hilarious to you. racism is just giddy......
