The new Attorney General when questioned b4 the powers that be had this to say when asked her position on the subject
Marijuana: It “certainly would be my policy" to continue enforcing marijuana laws at the federal level.
Now perhaps this is the SOP answer however maybe stating something a little more forward thinking, like revisiting the classification of this potentially helpful weed, would have been more comforting to the patients and business owners/investors and can't forget the people whom this weed actually benefits.
