**A spate of shooting attacks on law enforcement officers has authorities concerned about a war on cops. In just 24 hours, at least 11 officers were shot. The shootings included Sunday attacks at traffic stops in Indiana and Oregon, a Detroit police station shooting that wounded four officers, and a shootout at a Port Orchard, Wash., Wal-Mart that injured two deputies. On Monday morning, two officers were shot dead and a U.S. Marshal was wounded by a gunman in St. Petersburg, Fla.


On Thursday, two Miami-Dade, Fla., detectives were killed by a murder suspect they were trying to arrest.

"It's not a fluke," said Richard Roberts, spokesman for the International Union of Police Associations. "There's a perception among officers in the field that there’s a war on cops going on."**

Not sure how they think there's a "war" on cops, like there's a meeting of the criminals and they're plotting against them.

Hell seems like cops are just getting a kick in the ass from karma to me. seems like its always been an us against them kind of uneasy truce. I think they have been smoking up in the evidence room, calling it a war on cops sounds like they are a bit paranoid

There's been way too many police officers dying on duty recently, a few days before the the Arizona shootings, and I realize no cops were injured there, a young officer was killed in Arlington (Host of the Super Bowl) and another fell in Virginia the next day. Even though I generally don't like cops, I still don't like to see them die or even get hurt, there are always exceptions but for the most part I realize that their still someones dad, mom, daughter, son, and so on.

I am realy trying to understand your conversation.. this one is really very tough to understand..... you should give this an easy way...

Sorry guys but not all cops are bad. That is just like saying all bikers or all stoners are bad. Most cops are just doing their jobs. I am the father of a soon be a cop. My biggest fear is geting the "phone call". I feel for the family's of these cops or any cops for that matter that have to go through a death.
