This is my somewhat stealth setup

Well i planted one seed today, i have the timer on for a 12hr period ill post pics as soon as it sprouts.

I have to be very stealthy with this grow, im growing peppers, tomatoes, green beans, and one NL seed. My box runs at night in my room so the parents wont mess with it, but during the day i put the NL plant under the tidy cats container so even if they decide to ask ill be fine which they already have and worked fine

You should use some reflective material to line the entirety of the inside of your box. Put that 150w to it's maximum potential I even like to leave about an inch and a half of lip at the top of the pot and line the inside of that lip with foil as well, it helps get some light under the leaves

I think i have a problem because for some reason the leaves are kinda curling back i think it was because i was giving it to much nutrients so i stopped and now giving it fresh clean water.what do you think?

You should be pHing the water that you are giving it, take note of that. Now take some of the runoff water and pH that. Depending on the difference of pH between water going in and water coming out you will be able to adjust the water going in accordingly. If the water is coming out too high that lower the pH some and vise versa. You can you an aquarium pH test kit from wal-mart or a pet store. They come with a test tube, test solution, and pH up and down

is there a way to know what ph im supp to be at?

i like to be around the 6.8 - 6.5 range, even neutral is fine but 6.5 is ideal

well i just finished testing my water and it came out to 7.9 and now i have it at 6.6 thanks for the help!

You got a digital pH meter that quick?

well its not digital but it works

If it isn't digital how do you know it is at 6.6 now?
I have never seen a pH test kit that reads that accurate.

well i don't have a lot of money so for right now im using this ph kit from pets mart and it comes with a colored chart so im sry not exactly 6.6 but thats what the chart reads when i compaired the test tube to the chart.i just wanted to fix my plant for right now till i can buy something more accurate.

Yeah man that is fine I just knew that you couldn't be that sure of the pH through a test kit that's all

ya this was only 1 seed out of the 10 that i bought so i kinda used this seed as the ginny pig u know. but hopefully i will see a change in the leaves in the next couple days!but again thanks for the help

well its been 24 hrs. since iv been using 6.6 ph water and the leaves still have little curl on the end of 2 of the leaves, should i mix it with the tiger bloom 2-8-4 or should i give it a week and see what happens?
