This little son of b*tch was growing beautifully in my homie's aerogarden. he noticed this mold on the stem by the base of the plant. he went to clean it and the plant just bent in half. he straightned up the bend with some tape to hold it up and transplanted it into...(see below pics) the root system looked fine.
1.)should the plant hold up since the roots are fine or due to that bend at the stem is it a lost cause?
2.)should he leave the lights off untill tomm morning's regular cycle or should he just leave them on its regular cycle?

it will be fine be very easy on it, i would even switch the light to 18 and 6 so i gets dark time, darkness will repair roots and also help get right of the mold, mold needs light to photosynthesize, get a sock and place it over the stalk on the bottom of ur stem, or something similar to stop the light from shining on the mold itself, i had the same problem i used socks haha i was ghetto about it that was yrs ago

Molds do not photosynthesize, they get their energy from organic matter. But yeh, darkness will help the plant to recover.
