Should be fine, happend to me, id be more worried about the back flow on the air hoses. mount it up high or buy the valves.

I have 1800 gallons of air an hour running 14 2-gallons. and i have to keep water level below half to keep water from bubbling up to the surface
Here are my main buckets you can see the black hose that would connect to another T fitting

I simply fed the line for the air stone through a hole at the bottom of each bucket (before i filled with medium) and have the air stone under the inner bucket

I may have been misleading i have an 1100 gph pump and a 700 gph pump. My 1100 is very loud and vibrates so much the rubber bases are getting ground into rubber dust
Where did u even find a pump that size? I just got the 4 out let pimp from the local hydro store and put 2 stones in each bucket
Here's my big pump its actually 1157 gph and my 700 is more like 750 so i guess its 1900 gph total
Both were purchased at a local grow store. The smaller pump was $45 and the big one was $60 but the big pump can be heard humming no matter where i go in my house and its in in my basement on the floor with a towel under it to stop it from grinding its own shoes into dust
