Just an update in the second plant harvested 5 days ago. Not as thought wondering as the last one lol, but close. I find my self drifting in thought for an hour and not realizing where the time went but no couch lock to speak of. The first one was a tighter bud structure and more triches. Taste is the same but I fucked up the jarring and even though it was crispy in the outside it really moistened up, not enough to cause damage but the flavour is off. I tend to smoke moister pot due to the vaporizer but prefer the taste of a drier cure. Still all in all not a bad 8-10 week finish plant .... Hoping 10 anyways lol.

question for budley and the gang here in the auto section:

so i just had 2 nirvana low ryders sprout and are in their 4 leaf phase (just a few days from germination). i normally keep my seeds and early veg in 24/0. when should i switch these to 20/4 which is what i plan on running? stay on 24/0 until they get their first set of real leaves or now?

Don't ask me lol, all my auto's are outdoors. If I did indoors it would be 24 only because they would sit in my clone/veg area which is 24 all the time under HO t5's

Just wanted to update this thread to let everyone know I'm not real impressed with the second harvest, clearly I have 3 pheno's that are basically the same structer but different finish times. I have harvested all of them and the last are still drying and by far the biggest with probably 2-2.5 ounces per. The plant that was done at 8 weeks was actually quite good and got my hopes up re auto's, the second harvest at 9.5 weeks sucks and hopefully the last will be better :).

I found one decent (in that the nose wasn't horrible - smelled like bubblegum - and was reasonably frosty passable but not good smoke) plant out of 22 when I ran it years ago. Autos take some breeding and effort to make good... so if you're at 1/4 that's an improvement at least.

The Jack47 autos from sweet seeds I've finished recently are pretty decent. A lot better than the TD I ran. Yielding around 13%-18% shatter (plant to plant varies) of good quality. Nose is good, yield good. Structure good. A few runtish plants. Still needs more work as a line but overall it upped my experience with autos. A black jack I have also an auto reeks pretty fucking amazingly and is very frosty too.

That said, they're still all lesser than the best photos I have. But they're nice little things for outdoors and the veg tent, let me say..

I honestly thought I'd found a good auto finally when sampling the early finisher but the search continues :(. Thanks for the recommendations :).
