Things I've learned

Thought I would use this to keep track of the things Ive learned from things ive tried to mistakes Ive made. Im sure this list will grow.

Feel free to comment on your own experiences.

1. Never throw Mylar away. Ive found uses for even the tiniest pieces either as reflectors or patches.

2. Do not use the original sponge in the AeroGarden seed baskets. Taproots are not strong enough to break through. I use Rapid Rooter cut to size.

3. Only use CalMag when you have to. And then only sparingly.

4. There are no instant fixes. Stop hovering over your plants noticing every blemish on it. Instead take a pic, load a bowl and enjoy the beauty of your garden from your computer.

5. water deep, not often.

6. Dont buy HIDs without proper ventilation

7. Don't marry a girl with big hands, it makes your dick look small.

For those who are married... PUT the toilet seat back down after a midnight piss...

Screw that. She should have to raise the seat when shes done.

7: Pull plants that you want to transplant out of your AeroGarden before the roots get too big.

Ahaha this list is going to get wayyy off topic. This one is for the new growers.
8. DO NOT chop a plant until you're SURE it's a male.

9. Don't Fertilize Plants 1 Week Before Harvest!

10. Don't Harvest Buds That Aren't Amber Colored Yet!

11. If a user asks if his plant is ready to harvest or not, and then tries to counter a comment, it's no use trying to persuade him. That plant has probably already been harvested

12. if you have a shitload of plants that need to be tied down or taken out individually for some reason, DO NOT water them first. those things get heavy.

13. don't smoke cigarettes near your plants.

14. wash your hands, change your clothes, or take a shower before handling or being near your plants if you've recently exposed yourself to undesirable critters.

15. Don't kid yourself, you NEED a pH meter.

16. DO NOT procrastinate when it comes to transplanting.

17. Dont throw away zip ties.

18. You can never check PH too much in a liquid grow medium.

19. Don't go to sleep with an itchy butt; you'll wake up with a smelly finger.
