I need some help on figuring out what I need to buy, from walmart or homedepot, no hydro shop around here. im using CFLs to veg and 400w hps to bud. I have a light timer, the lights, killer seeds. What I want to know is what else I need to get. Im gonna buy a hygrometer, thermometer, duct fan. what else do I need?

Maybe a ph tester, some ferts, a barrel to store your water, some type of reflective material and lots of patience and study.

Dude i´m not from US but from what i ear u can build yourself a nuke with the stuff wall mart sells.......the nutes i would go with one of those Micro+Grow+Bloom packs they are not to expensive and fill out the needs more then fine (and aren´t as tricky to use as the organic ones), just give the plants half the solution of what is recommended by the brand and you will be fine...

I know for a fact that they sell 2 or 3cheaper soil pH testers for under 20 bucks....but thats more of a stick it in the soil when its wet and see what the pH roughly is.

If you in the US, it may be a risk from what people tell me though.

walmart has ph testing kits for under $10! look in the acqarium section.. I got my first kit there, then ran out of PH down and got more for $3

to lower pH you can use the cheapest vinegar you can get, gallon for a buck, there is no reason to buy expensive stuff as those aquarium stuff. what you can buy in this section are fairly cheap and good electronic pH meters for 30 bucks if you lucky, that is a bargain to get

really for pH down us vinegar and for up baking soda, i use this for years and years without trouble

Yes wall mart does sell PH testers the also sell co2 tablets and stuff just take a trip to the pets section where the FISH AND REPTILE ITEMS ARE U MITE FIND MORE JUST LOOK!!!!!!

any Aquarium shop has PH testers. You need masking tape, a fan, some duct tape too.

also id look for a cheap oscolating fan ( 12 dolalrs for 12 inch rotating fan at my walmart. ) just my 2 cents. lights of course. flat white paint for reflectors .. man it really depends on what kinda grow your doing
