1 im using miracle grow with time release in it and i think its horrible my plant has been flowering almost a week now and i was wondering if it would harm my plant if i went and took it out of its current add some organic soil then put it back in there would it harm the plant or would it be ok

2 if i did transfer it would i add nutes before or after i put it in this new soil and how long should i wait if i put it in afterwords

3 what is the best and cheap nutes to give me big fat buds thats easy to use, organic, and perferbly from walmart (or the best npk ratio) i know i need a higher phosphoris cut down nitogen but whats the best i can get from the store, where i live there isnt many stores just a lows and walmart

and

4 i bout these new cfls there 13 watt 825 lumens they are 60 watt replacements and i have 5 of them on my plant are these good enough?

-thank you:weed:

I would definitly transplant into better soil...I heard from others on this site they have had problems with M.G. When you transplant them you should use some Superthieve or a B-1 to help with preventing shock. And depending what soil u get, some soil have nutes in them... Fertilizer's, etc. so it all depends. I'd just use the superthieve first watering, then add your nutes to which week u r on in flowering... And some put organic additives into soil so they don't have to add nutrients. So it up to you. I add ntrients (House & Garden cause I use soilless med.) Hope I was helpful, but others may have some more helpful solutions. Peace

^I really doubt you're going to want to feed them, right after adding fresh soil, because the new soil should be loaded with nutes. But, if you do choose to feed them, do it after the transplant. You're supposed to water after you transplant, normally, anyway. Can I ask how you were going to feed them before the transplant? I'm not saying it's impossible, just wondering what you had in mind. :)

i was thinking add nutes to soil then transplant but since they would have nutes in it how long should i wait before i add them?

Basically, a good rule of thumb(IMO), is to start feeding when your plant is about the same size as it's pot, in both heigth and width. The roots will be about the same size, which tells you that they've occupied the entire soil volume, and likely, have it nearly depleted. Then it'll be time to mix up a weak(1/4 strength) fert mixture, and water them thoroughly, making sure to moisten ALL the soil. Then, wait, see how the plants react, and if they want more fert, next time, mix it a little stronger.

ok it started showing its sex the 28th and so its been 8days should i even worry about the nutes? because i was planning on flushing 3 weeks before harvest so like in 2 weeks

^That all depends on the transplant, and how much soil your adding, as well as their current health, type of soil, etc.... Generally, they're going to need some fert, during flowering. Also, 3 weeks of flushing, is excessive, IMO. Basically, you're starving them when they're *supposed* to be packing on weight. One week is all you need, when flushing, unless you've *really* been feeding them heavily, and the soil is loaded with excess ferts. Hard to give an exact answer to your question, without pics, or specifics(like pot size, and final pot size). Also, it's not really a good idea to transplant while flowering, unless necessary. It could do more harm than good, unless your careful.

You are seriously underlit with those bulbs. Nothing is going to happen until you get adequate lighting, and 13w CFL's ain't it.

Figure 3,000 lumens/sq ft for veg and 5,000 lumens/sq ft for flower.

Wet

ok so i shouldnt transplant? im using this miracle grow and 5 cfl lights there 13 watt 60 watt replacments with 825 lumens per bulb the pot size is 15" its very helthy a few cumbles and stuff on the leaves but overall its fine is there anything i can do to maximize my yeild with this?

I'm using miracle grow and no problems and been flowering. don't transplant and quit trying to wrap your head around things. it's simple

again there 60 watt replacements the lumen of each bulb is 825 per bulb i have 5 that should be enough

They're only 13 watts, and as mentioned, not powerful enough, even 5 of them. Always go by actual watts, when buying CFLs. Also, right now is when the light matters most. If you double your light, you could potentially, double your yield.

His lights are enough for growth and flowering by the way. no matter what you guys are saying. I've grown with less lighting in my sig

I love superthrive! I mix it into the water I keep my foggers in and lightly mist/fog my plants once a week. a humboldt secret

hahaha and i want a nice new flatbed truck that runs fine and gets the gas mileage of a civic. oh yeah it needs to be cheap too.
