Honestly whats the big deal? Stealing shit is always a factor in everything they have people to replace lights and companys account for and factor in theft so what is the difference? Stealing from people isnt right but if its stealing from big business/the government then I really dont see a problem in it.

Thieving is always wrong, but the guy that boosted the cop's lights has to be part of the fun bunch. when thieves boost lights like at the park they're harming kids and replacement is much more expensive than just buying the lights. You can buy fluorescent lights for < $10 at Wallys 'til you can buy something better. As a practical matter, it would suck outing your grow because your theiving was detected (like elec theft).

There really is no justifiable reason to steal; even if its "from the man." Even if you're hungry, just ask for something.

Guerilla growing is theft if not on your own property, but most stoners get situational ethics about now.

Any theft/loss even "from the man" will just get pushed back down onto the workers and the shoppers.
Losing money is something poor people do not rich people.
The poor people are just here to work and soak up and pay for their losses:blsmoke:

Are you really that stupid? Do you loan yourself money too? When that light is stolen from a government owned facility who pays for the new one? Not only you but your children and grandchildren will.

Jesus if kids these days really can't understand basic math there is no hope for the future.

Well I guess not since its gone.......

But yes, it is. In my state we take theft VERY seriously and its perfectally legal for me to shoot you in the back running down the street after you break into my house (after dark is the only stipulation).

This is why the last 2 rounds in my shotgun mag tube are slugs :)

I would love to add a little chlorine to the gene pool.

When you use marijuana and then steal you are playing right into the government propaganda. They say pot makes people criminals and then you say "I'm not a criminal for smoking pot" and then you go out and steal a ballast.

Please stop smoking and growing weed. The rest of us can't afford to have you on our side of the argument.

When talking about stealing from stores and whatnot....back in the day, when my first son was born, I stole diapers quite often.....and as to how I would feel if someone stole it from me....

if someone was desperate enough to need to steal diapers....then I wouldn't be so upset if someone stole mine.

I don't think it is right to lump ALL thieves together.

Not all of you are, but a few of you are and I am offended.

Just let it be known that some steal for need, and others steal because they are dumb.

i've had soooooo much stuff stolen from me. it's just stuff at this point. remember when they used to keep single packs of smokes out in the aisles? i think they moved them behind locked doors just because of my friends and i. YouTube - Ministry - Thieves

I can say that if you stole from me (even diapers) I would have no qualms about putting a bullet in your head.

A thief is a thief is a thief. Let me guess, while you were so desperate you had to steal diapers you still had enough money for weed/booze/cable/internet/going out to eat/movies.........

Actually I didn't have money for all of that. I didn't have a car, cable, weed, booze, let alone going out to eat. I had a wire hanger in my tv and all I got was the PBS channel.

I lived in a 1 bedroom apartment that I shared with my baby on the 4rth floor ontop of a music store. It was like a cave due to the 80s wood wall panneling and tiny.

my oven was a microwave and my bed was the couch.

But I guess you would have to understand that kind of life....

I agree, when people steal it makes the rest of us have to pay more.

If you are starving and steal food that is acceptable. The price of food is getting way beyond out of hand and I think food theft is going to be on the rise in the coming months.

It's not the same thing as some punk stealing a ballast so he can grow some weed.
