Thief protection

Hi guys,

I got this nice blue dream 1 pound plant that got stollen by a filthy thief. I am growing in my backyard. I am planning on continue growing there next year because I have no plan to move. Any suggestion on how to prevent this thief from stolen my plants next year?

A dog is safe. Electric fence or worse is not normal backyard fair... Lawyers would love that

Stealing yer weed is way different than your lawn mower,even in legal states, still federaly illegal

Happened to me last year. This year we have a 4 camera wireless security system plus 3 motion detectors. Nobody can walk into my yard without me getting a notification on my phone. This year I've been staying up at night and I watch them periodically through the cameras I have set up. I don't trust myself waking up to a notification sound so I'm roughing it for a few weeks. If someone gets close to my plants there are flashing lights and a siren sound so I highly doubt they will stick around to chop plants...but if they do they'll find out what bear spray tastes like. After I'm done growing outdoors for the year the cameras go back to their spots around the house for the rest of the year, lowers insurance costs too.

What I want to know is how they were able to nab that big ass plant?? Did they cut it down or rip it out or something?
