There must be something we can do!

And this petition will solve what?

What about the whales and the baby seals? Elephants, rhino, chimpanzee, most types of shark?

These animals are being killed for profit, just like the humble cow.

And what are you doing about it skunk? I am quite aware that a petition is not enough to solve world problems, but at least it may raise global awareness of these terrible things... Sitting there feeling powerless and disgusted is of no use at all... I believe in and worry about the safekeeping of the oceans ecosystems..

I'm aware. What more can you do? It canot be stopped. There was a big thing in our national press about the killing of baby seals. Everybody is shocked and horrified for all of 5 minutes and then the killing continues.

Signing this petition will not do anything to stop what is going on. Do you honestly believe that? So merely by signing your name to a petition you feel this is enough to stop what is going on?

I don't do anything about it, there is nothing you can do. The Japanese don't take any shit from anybody.

I already said it was not enough,,,, But it is something, it makes a statement... It says that there are many people out there that don't agree with this shit..
You do nothing...good for you, I work for an ecology NGO.. Signing takes you 2 minutes, at most. Between signing and not signing, I choose the first. What do you lose?

il give 10 seconds of my time to sign it, i dont believe that single action will end the monstrosity, but if everyone took that 10 seconds and signed it, something would be done, like matias said, you lose nothing by signing, and if you end up gaining nothing then your all square.

more than nothing at all. Im sure its against the law to exert that level of cruelty to any animal, let alone something as rare as a dolphin.

I didn't watch the video. It freaks me out that you're trying to save dolphins when human beings are being tortured and killed everyday.

Sure, maybe animals have rights, but it seems there are bigger problems like homelessness and human starvation that need to be addressed first and foremost.

^^word to that, gardner. I'm 100% with you. I've been screenprinting 'fuck the whales, save a person' t shirts for a couple months now because it's so true. people are so engaged in helping animals that humans fall last on their list. Number of protesters killed by hunters on opening day of deer season in NYS? 0.. number of hunters killed by protestors? 13
I'm not saying animals shouldn't be protected but we should atleast be around to see them after they're saved.

Oh come on, We are responsible for the destruction of our ecosystems... humans are so self centered, everything just has to be about us... well ive got news for you... If this kind of slaughtering is allowed, it will trigger not only the pollution of our seas, but the general disbalance of the food chain and fishing problems in third world countries where poor people depend on the few fish they catch in a day to survive. We still depend on our fragile ecosystems... It's all related... and it is the responsibility of us, humans, to address these problems as we can, because we are the ones who cause them in the first place.
Plus, the world is over populated to its utmost, this is causing even more poverty and hunger... What do wealthy countries do about it. ZIT.

More than nothing at all, which is what? You don't know, do you. You honestly believe that by signing something you are doing your bit to help save these dolphins. lol. Really. How many signatures were on that thing again? I know it was a lot.

Against the law where? Japan do as they please, and none of us are going to fuck with them. They're a rich and powerful country, we only fuck with people that we can fuck with. We cannot tell them what to do.

Signing that shit does nothing. I know, lets all start a petition to stop people farming cows and turning them into burgers.

I agree with you. My point is that this petition will do nothing. The Jap's are fully aware of what they are doing, they just don't care. Although there is a whisper that many of the japanese are stating to take note on GW (at long last!). To get them to cut industrial emissions AND stop killing dolphins is surely too much to ask. They must be treated delicately, they are very aware of how they are viewed by the west in particular and will become obstinate if they even sniff we might be taking the piss.

The main problem with this Earth is human population. There used to be a theory (before the comet) that the dinosaurs would have starved to death as their population was too large for the Earth and there wouldn't have been enough food to feed them. So, a disease naturally occured to wipe them out. New diseases are evolving all the time... yet we find ways to beat them back, something the dinosaurs could never have done. She tries to cull us with disease, yet she fails... now she'll bring the weather.

Sadly guys SKh is right. these petitions are merely a way to make people think that they are helping. I've signed many about the killing of wolves in alaska but to no avail...well till I stopped keeping track. Even if it makes the ballot, alot of the time it doesn't help in the slightest.

there are enough people on this planet already. hell alot of countries are starving because of this fact and you want to save MORE? By doing so you only lead to the eventual hunger of MORE people.
