Still got 3 weeks to go... Its still very white looking, some orange hairs are starting to appear, but not enough for me to do anything about it...:-| I am at day 58 - 59 I think, stopped counting after PK 13-14 week...:-)

Here's some big leafy bud porn. :weed:.. My house stinks...lol Even with a carbon filter....:spew: This is the part I really don't like as I feel at my most vulnerable. I have put so many hours into making them what they are... Don't want anything to happen to them..:?

Hi, I'm new to this forum and growing indoors, when I was a young hippie I used to grow some weed in a ditch which was pretty good, but it wasn't anything like what the technical processes are now. (there were no technical processes ) Anyway White Rhino keeps popping up as a useful medical herb although the factual details are pretty sketchy. I'm trying to find out more since it would seem useful for a medical problem I have. My question is if I can grow WR from feminized seeds and I get someone to help me who seems to know what he is doing, how much does one plant yield? I'm trying to figure out how many seeds I need to get. Also, WR seems to be produced by a number of seeds banks in Europe, which is the best?
gracias,
Warren.

Hi Warren, I'll tell you what I know... I grow White Rhino too and its a beautiful plant... Its strong and good for pain relief.

I also grow white widow... Fem seeds are good, but if you are growing from seed it will take some time... Even though they are fem seeds, you will still need to sex them to make sure.. There are heaps of people on here willing to give you any information you need, but the best piece of advice I can give you is start a journal with a really catchy name, something people will want to read, the more who read, the more help you will recieve.

Read a lot of the newb threads before asking a lot of silly questions as most of the simple stuff is covered in these threads...Remember its still just a weed..:-) Yields depend on growing medium, lighting, experience, nutrients... You are best off getting about 10 seeds, sexing them, turning one of the females into a mother and keep taking cuttings. Its the quickest way to grow otherwise it will take you months to keep growing from seed... Choose your mother plant by picking the most robust and healthiest looking plant. Throw her under a flouro to keep her alive, give her a little nutrient but don't overfeed her... Throw her cuttings under any light you like as long as its not CFL, (why bother), 400 HPS or Metal Halide should do the job... How big a grow were you planning? Do you have space? I need a little more information before I can tell you much more...

What type of system do you want to use... Are you going to use soil. How big is your area...? Will it be totally enclosed, do you have intake and exhaust fans?

Get back to me :-)

To expand on what Lacey said regarding mothers, dont just choose your mother on looks alone. A smoke test is very important. Keep clones around of all your ladies until you have had a chance to smoke each of the ladies after a 2-4 week cure. Then use that to help determine who you want to keep around. Hopefully you can find a fast, vigorous, heavy yielding lady that smokes great too.

What Dave said...:-) This guy knows his stuff... He's answered all the questions I've thrown at him. You will do well to really read what he writes, his threads and posts are very informative.... Thanks again Dave...:-)

Hi again,

Back at the end of week 7.

Left front and back is Medi-Bud, Middle front and back is White Widow Max, Right Front and back is Aurora Indica. All from Fem seeds I got from Marijuanaseeds.nl

Spraybottle added for scale.

All seems to be very well. I am not home and the wife is tending our "garden". She is doing a standup job!!

hi there guys - i got a couple of seedsman white widows in my grow room - vegged under 63w cfl's for 4 weeks then under 600w HPS dual spec bulb for the last week, any idea when best to switch to 12/12? height is no issue (2m tall room) but i have a 2 month old Big Bang in with them that is screaming for the chance to grow her flowers!

All are in biobizz allmix mixed with John Innes No3 & perlite.
Fed on Biobizz Grow only so far and Brita filtered tap water ph'd down to 5.5ph.
Temps are 25-29c lights on - 16-20c lights off.
DIY carbon filter linked to 1 in-line fan at 107m3/h and 1 bathroom ex.fan at 72m3/h (not ideal but can live with it at the moment especially if i switch my lights on period to through the night once i switch to 12/12).
Also have the same weaker type fan pulling cool air into the room, and an ocs.fan moving the air around.

In the pics are the three togather and my tallest WW on her own.

Hi there and welcome, great job so far, but see that burning on the end of your leaves, just at the very tip, that is the indication for nutrient burn... I'd back off on the nutes just a little bit, give em a quick flush and things should go back to normal.... Otherwise phat looking plants..:-)

thanks lacey - i think i made the mistake of assuming the lower leaves yellowing was nitrogen def. upped the nutes to 2ml per litre to try and compensate and did more harm than good.

PS. I was really careful with the nutes for the first 4 weeks - 1/4 strength, plain water, 1/2 strenght etc. but the allmix soil is pretty hot too so easy to burn the little girls!
