Yeah, they do stretch & I'm used to it, my middle name is LST {well, not literally but you get my drift} - my 4th go round like this with DP WW. I keep tweaking this & that, last harvest was very respectable from this little closet.

The DP WW is killer man. Keep us updated. In the indoor section I've got a 4x8 tray with 10 of them under 2000w. Just flipped them today.

I vegged for two weeks and they are really bushy 1fters. I have no clue what I'll yeild but I'm sure they will be about 3ft when all is said and done. Topped em' to keep the height down.

I've posted so much on this thread I have no clue what I've said already.

The one in my avitar was soil. I started it July 1. It prob had 30 days legit veg. My rockwool were topped and vegged 24/0 for 10 days, three days of 18/6 and on the 14th day of veg I flipped them to flower.

Joe Camel you are a lucky dog. Hope your harvest is a good one.

Well my clones maid it 5 days with out my care. But some of them are looking yellow.
I felt the soil and it was a bit cold. So I ordered a heat mat. Hopefully that will help save them.

My other 3 girls are growing much faster. I think it is because I started giving them nuts.
One is 25" and one is 21" and the other is 15". I think I am still going to give them 2 more weeks before I start 12/12.
Plus I need to make sure my cuttings are going to live.

Well I am seeing a lot of new WW girls on the site looking very healthy. Good job every body.

Well guys my clones are not looking very good. They are 12 days old now and I think that they are over watered. Reason is because from the day I put the clones in the dirt I submerged them in water. There is so much water that under 2 of the 5" pots there is still water from the drains on the 5" pots. They are starting to turn yellow and sag. I took the dome off for 24 hours and put the florescent light down 2" from the tops of the clones to see if it would help but no luck. The soil is still a bit cold and my heat mat has not come in yet.

So tell me if what I am thinking about doing would be a good Ideal or not.
I am thinking that I should transplant them in dry soil. What do you guys think?

It definitely sounds like you have over-watered. I did the same exact thing with my 2 week old seedlings, and Im paying the price. Nitrogen deficiency, and necrotic brown spots on the first two sets of leaves, as well as sagging leaves :( Fuck pro-mix. Ill never use peat-moss as a main component of my medium ever again.

If you think you can safely transplant, then Id go for it. It'll take days and days to dry out under flourescent. It takes long enough for my pots to dry out under 400w MH.

Lesson learned: Younger plants need far less water, and the 10-15% runoff rule doesn't apply for them when using very moisture retentive mediums. You'll just end up drowning the fuck out of your plants.

Thanks DaveCoulier I took your advise and I transplanted them in to fresh medium.
I felt like it was a good transplant. We will see. I Sprayed just the top of the soil and put the dome back on.

Well Happy ThanksGreening To the WW CLUB!!

Hello everyone. Well this is my second grow with this beautiful plant. Here are my stats.

Medium: Soil I made
Light: 400W MH/HPS conversion ballast
Nutrients: AN Micro, Grow, Bloom, Big Bud and Maxicrop
Breeder: Mr. Homegrown (original parents came from Nirvana)
Room Specs: Grow Box. OSB board with white painted walls. 41" x 41" x 72 1/2"

Here are some pics. Anyone ever seen one of these WW plants NATURALLY make 2 tops?? First pic is of all 8. The plant with the 2 tops is in the far right corner. The next three pics are of that plant and the last is my most vigorous one. None of these have been topped yet.

So what you think? Anyone ever seen one do that?

Growing Medium: Fox Farm Ocean Forest

Lights: 2 X 1000W HPS

Nutrients: Fox Farm 3 + Soluble tri-pack

Breeder of Strain: White Widow

Room Specifications: Grow room, 8' X 7'

I have four White Widow growing along with twenty four other plants of various strains.

I Transplanted from rooted clones straight to 5 & 7 gallon pots on October 14th. Veged for what was supposed to be 4 weeks but ended up being a 5 week veg because I accidently switched my timer to ON a couple days after I switched to 12/12 and the lights stayed on for 24 hours for almost another week. So I ended up switching to 12/12 on the 22nd of november instead of the 15th. Im praying they dont hermi.

A couple of solo shots:

And a group shot of all 4

top above the 3rd or 4th true internode for 4 tops.

check out uncle bens topping thread.
Argg! If you mean for at least 4 tops then topping there would suffice. If you want 4 specifically you top above the second one, although some members have had plants topped that only grew out two tops as the first set of sucker branches never grew out.

I prefer topping above the third though, as Ive always had at least 4+ tops grow out from there.

Homegrown: Those pics look nice. It looks like the auto-topped one has 4 tops. Am I seeing the picture correct? Wish I had a plant that did that. Theres no way Id ever top that plant. Id let it grow as is and see what comes of her.
