The White privilege to terrorize

You guys are funny

in your world there are 500 different genders

but when it comes to politics its either someone agrees with you 100% or they are a racist Trump supporter.... there is no middle ground, its binary in your eyes...
It's a fight between good and evil, the middle ground is full of barbed wire and only fools who do not know the difference between right and wrong venture there. It has already been established that you are both amoral and immoral, a liar and a fool.

At our family get together today one of my sister in laws was complaining about a truck driver that wore women's makeup. She's divorced from her truck driving buddy. No kids thank goodness. I think he's cheated on her most of their 35 years of marriage. Being a Baptist trumpkin she hates "f@gs". My son asked her if she was so upset because her ex got excited. She never said a word. Got very quiet. I laughed my ass off. I added to the mix. I said I see Trump wants to cut social security if he gets in again. Silence. The trumpkins left early. Woohoo!
What, no Clorox jug, what kind of host offers no refreshments? Preferably the beverage of choice... :D

Another tRUmp turd loses his job and claims to be the victim, I guess a liberal forced him to hang the governor in effigy, actions have consequences moron.

Easy now. He looks like one of the good ones from “that side”. I wonder how many Trump rallies he’s attended. I would wager more than the amount of books he’s read.

Habitual behaviours are caught on camera now, ugly acts of racism and racist police brutality. People get caught up in strong emotions and do stupid things, their focus narrows and they reach for the usual weapons at their disposal. In an age of body and car cams, security cameras and cell phones to internet, the consequences of loss of emotional control can be devastating for not just the victim, but the perpetrator. Probably over half the white cops in America are racists, and when under stress we often revert to habitual behaviors, our social conditioning and our technical training.

Trump’s militarization of D.C. is nothing but stagecraft

For a few thrown water bottles, a blaze that was about the size of my high school’s homecoming bonfire, and some stores looted by folks who came in cars and appeared to have little to do with the demonstrations for racial justice, the entire city was encircled by armored Humvees and columns of soldiers were positioned on city streets around the White House, which became a fortress wreathed in several walls all summer long.

So what happened this time? Did someone in charge just figure, “Oh, they’re patriots. They’re harmless?”

Or: “These are good people, give all the officers the day off.”

Or: “Hey, let’s show America what White privilege looks like.”

Because that’s how it felt.

Trump lit those torches of White supremacy in Charlottesville

This is the same police force that swarmed me and my sons when we kicked a yellow and green bouncy ball around near the Capitol Visitor Center years ago. The same police who stared at me steely eyed when they found goldfish crackers in my son’s backpack. The same officers who kicked my husband out of the building when he went into the speaker’s lobby without a tie.

“The keys are in there!” someone in the crowd yelled.

And a young man in a hoodie and ridiculous body armor jumped into an articulating jib lift — a cherry picker — parked by the inauguration construction on the west side of the Capitol, turned it on and took people with Trump flags on rides 60 feet in the sky.

I watched a man in an orange hunting hoodie simply take a barricade apart, letting more of the mob pour onto the grounds. No police around.

The rioters climbed the inaugural scaffolding and waved Confederate battle flags. They swarmed steps and terraces that have been closed to the public for years.

Right in front of the Capitol steps, the place where my kids were kicked out years ago for sledding, someone set off a flare that flew in an arc, burning bright red, toward the dome.

“The Civil War is starting tonight!” a woman with salt-and-pepper hair and a lavender parka declared, waving her mittened hands in the air, giddy.

“Oh, it already started,” her partner said.

It was pure chaos and emotion with no plan, no mission and no reason.

A man with a megaphone verified that.

“People keep asking us, ‘What’s your plan?” he said. “I don’t have a plan, but I have a reason.”

After the flashbang grenades went off, after the phones all buzzed with the alert that D.C.’s mayor had set a curfew, they simply walked back to their cars and hotel rooms, regaling each other with stories of their glorious day trying to take down democracy.

That’s right. While a few dozen arrests were made, most just got to go back. I was surprised the police also didn’t hand them burgers on their way home.

This is the two Americas we need to be talking about.

Good time to bump this thread @hanimmal. A few old threads have been resurrected lately. Have you noticed how many of those threads ended with the thud of a post from @Rob Roy?

Rioters breached US Capitol security on Wednesday. This was the police response when it was Black protesters on DC streets last year

But, I keep hearing that there's no such thing as systemic racism...
Hand Guns, pipe bombs, a rifle, chemical weapons... You know a peaceful protest.
The people who were there looked like the inbred offspring of the confederacy for sure. I'm surprised they got up off of their sister long enough to play capture the flag.

In one of the most ambitious attempts in the history of the Caucasian activity known as “trying it,” the man incarcerated for his alleged participation in the mini-lynch mob that led to the death of Ahmaud Arbery has petitioned for his release, claiming that the current “racially charged” atmosphere makes it impossible for a white man to get justice in America.

Stop laughing. This is a serious story.

William “Roddie” Bryan Jr. was arrested and charged with felony murder and attempt to commit false imprisonment for his part in the ride-along that ended when he reportedly helped Travis and Gregory McMichael chase 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery on Feb. 23, 2020. After cornering Arbery with their vehicles, Bryan captured video of Travis McMichael shooting Arbery twice with a shotgun, killing him.

Then, they just went home.

Here is a guy who hangs out with some people who think it's OK to summarily execute a Black man on the suspicion of burglary. Never mind that burglary is not a capital offense. Just, kill him and, "hey Roddie, how about taking our pictures at the lynching. Nobody will care. If they do, they are anti-white racists."

On Thursday, the FBI arrested a political appointee of former president Donald Trump on charges that he stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, according to a criminal complaint, marking the first member of the administration arrested in connection with the insurrection.

Federal agents arrested Federico G. Klein, 42, a former State Department aide, on multiple felony charges related to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, according to a criminal complaint published by the New York Times. (Politico first reported the arrest.) The State Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment early Friday.

Klein, who is also a former Trump campaign employee, did not immediately respond to a request for comment early Friday. It is unclear if he has hired a lawyer.

Klein was still employed at the State Department as a staff assistant on Jan. 6 when he joined a mob in a tunnel leading into the U.S. Capitol, the FBI said. Then he allegedly “physically and verbally engaged with the officers holding the line” at the building’s entrance, according to the complaint. After ignoring officers’ orders to move back, he assaulted officers with a riot shield that had been stolen from police, the complaint said, and then used the shield to wedge open a door into the Capitol.

Klein’s arrest is the most direct link yet between the Trump administration and the rioters, despite attempts by some conservatives to dissociate the insurrection from the former president. Many of the 300-plus people who have been charged in connection with the insurrection have described themselves as Trump supporters, while some have ties to extremist groups like the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers.

Klein had a top-secret security clearance that was renewed in 2019, the FBI said. A LinkedIn profile the FBI identified as Klein’s also lists a top-secret security clearance and shows that Klein has been politically active in the Republican Party since at least 2008, when he began volunteering for political campaigns. Before joining the State Department in 2017, Klein worked for the Trump campaign, which paid him a $15,000 salary.

According to a financial disclosure form filed by Klein, he was appointed as a staff assistant in the State Department on Jan. 22, 2017, days after Trump was sworn in as president. He worked as a special assistant in the Office of Brazilian and Southern Cone Affairs, where he was paid $66,510, according to a ProPublica database of Trump appointees and the criminal complaint.

After the insurrection, Klein continued working in the State Department until Jan. 19, when he resigned the day before Biden’s inauguration, per the complaint.

The Trump appointee faces several felony charges for his alleged role in the riot, including knowingly engaging in any act of physical violence against any person or property in any restricted building or grounds.

Klein’s mother, Cecilia Klein, told Politico that her son had admitted to being in D.C. on Jan. 6 but said he did not specify whether he had entered the Capitol building.

“Fred’s politics burn a little hot,” she told Politico, “but I’ve never known him to violate the law.”

Poor persecuted white people ....... it’s gotten out of hand. As Trump declared, “white people are being killed too”, “more than blacks”. Such travesty! FML.

This wouldn't happen under Trump, it happened in 2012 and will happen again.
