shit, i want to know if TGA is still going. I am sure Sub is pissed! This is just stupid. The NOS venue blows and is in the middle of nowhere. Shit is deep from original venue in LA. I dont see how it is still the LA cup when it is being held in San Bernadino or riverside County??? WTF. I want my money back. I would rather go visit wine country and support team ice wax. SHit. Dumb ass High Times anyway. I think they are a cancer of our community.

Man thats some shitty news. I feel for you guys that payed money and stuff for this trip. For Sub and everyone that counted on Hightimes to put on a respectable event and poured a good shit load of money into this. Its gonna be interesting to see if those that payed money will get refunded if the cup doesnt happen. I dont know how this cup works as far as judges passes and that go but i know that my pass at the cup in the Dam was expesive and rather lame. I am hoping, by chance that Subcool had his camera on himself when he heard this news that would have a few expletives in it. With quite a bit of anger thrown in. After last years cup in Amsterdam I decided that instead of spending the money on another cup im gonna send it to School of Dank this year.

Haha maybe we'll get another pre-cup weed nerd after all he's probably gonna need a good rant after this! I'm sure sub'll still go only because so many nerds are already committed to going but sure he won't go to one again (think he already said that was the case before this!) Makes me feel a bit better that I'm not going that I don't have to stress out over this shit i'm sure those who go will still have a good time.

I'm debating on whether or not to go now. If Subcool pops on here and says they are still going and it's still going to be a good time at the TGA booth I will go. At this point the only reason I really want to go is to meet up with other RIUers and weed nerds.

LA and San Diego are a clusterfuck when it comes to cannabis. I'm just blown away at how similar Apollo 13 bx is to what I have. I'll be damned if it's not nearly the same plant. I just shot my veg pics before flowering and I have a male and a female. You ain't seen A-13 like this folks. I know this plant and this plant knows me. I hope these pics turn out as good as what I just saw in person.

This is what has been going on for the last few weeks behind the scenes.

On Feb 8th a Concerned 420 resident sent this to HT

Do you guys think its a good idea to be hosting the cup in Glendale? Honestly I lived there for 10+ years and the police are extremely strict. On top of it my brother and I were searched last year for sitting in our car playing with our phones. They found an eighth of prescription cannabis. Even though they saw both of our recs they said "Its up to the court to verify". They gave both my brother and I a separate ticket for one jar. The court also rejected the appeal for "No grounds of law." Hosting there is inviting trouble.

The event was moved due to some unforeseen difficulties in receiving the necessary permits from the LAPD, so in order to put on the best event possible, we had to move it to a friendlier venue in Glendale. So Come have a blast it's the people that make these events fun and why we have put up with this type of disorganization. Yes Politicians are putting up road blocks and HT plays a big part in the movement this does not excuse piss poor communication and excuses.

Take this into consideration
Each Weed Entry, Sativa, Indica, and Hybrid are judged by a 3 person panel. One staff member and two seasoned grower smokers. Then why do they need 40 Grams and 500$ for every entry?
The Same applies for Concentrates 20 grams is the entry?

Sounds like a great way to collect a stash to me.
