If you google the Hardy-Weinberg model of Genetic Equilibrium and learn it then you'll get a better grasp of how dominant traits and recessive traits along with a formula to calculate your odds of getting certain pheno and genetic traits. But most of this is useless unless you have the ability to grow out hundreds if not thousands of plants at once to see the trend in the traits then go off from that test crop and get good numbers. Learn your ladies, then move onto what you want out of your ladies. Just find the right stud and they will make wonderful babies, all these genetic variation is why I love 3D, it's like a box of chocolates having 3 different strains with many many phenos and traits to chose from you never know what your gonna get but it's always awesome. I beleive someone can continually breed within 3D with all it's pheno combinations and never get bored, and when you do throw it into anything you want to finish quick lol. :-P

Ouuf I hear ya I have sick little ones so it takes up my time just as much as if I was sick myself. Which usually follows shortly after they get it, it's a terrible never ending cycle lol.

Yeah Ccoastal I wanna make a glycerine tincture soon. I have done the alcohol but thats now really my cup of tea. Hope you get to feelin better man. I just got over a gnarly stomach virus myself. Aint been on here to much, And to top it off I was workin on my car and got a piece of metal shaving in my eye so this whole weeks been pretty screwed. I will say that about a hour after I would wake up it would start hurting BAD and start tearing up and shit. But when I would pack a bowl of one of my more relaxing strains and smoke it about 20mins after the bowl or midways threw it,if I was already stoned and just holding it lol.But anyways I could smoke a bowl and my eye would relax a good bit and wouldnt hurt near as bad.that and a warm washcloth helped so much! So cannabis just never stops amazing me!

go get yourself some Rhoto-V eyedrops, they come in a round bottle with either a green or blue lid. i call them eye mints because they give your eyes a cooling refreshed feeling.

when i was doing construction full time i often found myself with foreign objects like metal shavings, concrete, rocks, splinters even the occasional plastic off of a nail rack to the eye. the eye mints were a must and always in the flap pocket of my tool bags!

i appreciate all the kind wishes from you guys. i will be ok tho i just need to take the next few days really really easy, not like i have much of a choice as i have been curled up on my couch almost all day with on and off cold sweats and hot flashes :/ all should be much better in the next few days tho im hoping.. its all in your head you know!

I too have tried the alcohol tincture when I did I immediately tried the glycerine. Holy shit! What a difference I don't know if anyone remembers those little honey straws you could get but that's the difference when using alcohol to glycerine. The glycerine is awesome tastes like honey compared to the other method. My mother suffers from ms and she isn't big on putting smoke in her already very touchy body. So I made the tincture for her in hopes for a more medicinal effect. O man was it there! Her legs are completely stiff and her hands do the cringe thing. When she would smoke a little help with that. With the tincture her hands open up all the way and her legs relax it was like a miracle! It gave my mother some of her life back. Anyways sub can show you all about making this natural remedy. It's also great for taking before bed if you have trouble sleeping. Ten twenty mins later lights out!!!

How are the breeders in the U.S.managing to grow 100s or 1000s of plants to develope strains and phenos? Can it be done legally in any med.states? Is it done Illegaly?Done offshore?Done by 40 friends growing 9 plants each? How does a breeder operate in Canada or maybe the Carribean re. the law?Where are the best places to be a breeder in the developed world?

Good question!, Imagine if the breeders were able to have access to the best genetics that their seeds produced.

I personaly think it's like a gian web of underground growers with all roughly the same growing styles so the results don't vary much and they can take a look at a lot more then what their individual growing limits are. So yeah if sub gave out 10 seeds to 10 of his buddies and took a look at all of em them you can get better numbers then if you only put out 10.

I dunno thats how I think they get great cuttings.

I am having a security issue. I think one of my helpers has stolen from me. She is honest, I have known her for years and I have never had reason not to trust her. I think I have enough evidence on her, but I enjoy her company. Has anyone else had similar problems? Could she have been set up?

I had the same prob. with my Cats.... I have an area in my small kitchen that is concealed and blocked off by a baby gate. I grow clones and seedlings in there... One morning i get up go into the kitchen and see that the baby gate is knocked down....my heart starts racing, and to my dismay i look down into the holding area.......... half the branches and leaves of all of my plants had been chomped and eaten.... :( And out of the two cats i have i know which one gets into trouble like this, and boy did he get an ass whoopin..... now he doesn't dare go near that area..... hahahhahahaha....

Smokey is pretty much right.

TGA is a group of growers, the test growers you hear about are just that, growers that test out the new crosses like Qush or ripped bubbah

WE use growers from all skill sets and all types of set ups from CFL's to Hydro to Super Soil when testing a cross from newbies to very experianced growers like Ocanabis and TCcurtiss

The data we collect would take one grower in one room years to collect!

Thats awesome I like that you select experience from newbs to Vets to grow out your strains that way you can actually say this shit will grow itself lol My 3D I find is super forgiving to newb mistakes like we have been doing lol

Hey fellow Weed Nerds! I just wanted to take the time to say thanks to all of the people on here for contributing all of this great info. I was a part of this forum a couple years ago and I found that it was mostly ignorant assholes, so I left. Over the past year I've been researching organic gardening and I stumbled upon all of Sub's great info. I then proceeded to find the Weed Nerd channel on youtube, as well as this thread, and the rest is history;). I've read through all the pages and everyone here seems very knowledgeable/level headed, so I decided to join in on the fun. Thanks again fellow Nerds:cool: Sub, in episode 34 you inspired me to blow the dust off the Photoshop and try to make a design. I know it's not as detailed as you want but I had fun making it. I look forward to chatting with you all. Keep it real.

I dunno if it's his most stable strain I know Vortex is pretty stable, 3D having 3 Strains breed into each other is like have a mix bag you never really know what pheno's you'll get till it grows out but I can tell you growing patterns are easy to see.
