Cover them so they don't get rained on, I built a frame over my plants and cover it with cheap plastic near the end of flower so they stay dry and you could put a fan I just cover the top so the side are open. I use to have the same problem some years cause we'd get rain but no sun shine I'd go out shake the plants off that helped but certain strains mold easier

Out here in Maine we always seem to have problems with bud rot towards the end of the season? Are there any good, safe products out there I could use to treat or even better would be something i could use or do to prevent it from happening?

Thanks man! Sucks I just ordered some seeds the other day without knowing that there are mold resistant strains. Hopefully I luck out I'm gonna go do a little researching.

Wish I could have made it up there this year - the weather looked magical :)

I had to stay down here and tend the SoCal TGA Farm:

Jilly Bean, Ace of Spades, Jesus OG, and Marion Berry :)

The greenhouse is coming along nicely:

If you see Farmer John at 4:46 in the video with the cool orange TGA shirt on, you'll be able to tell than Farmer John is Kirk Cobain's nephew. Hey FT, I'm not doing the tatts, but I borrowed the sunglasses frame style to make my own.

I think its more from the dew every night we haven't had shit for rain lately. I'm def gonna try building something along those lines for them tho. I thought about getting some 3 mil plastic but i didn't want to suffocate them.

Plastic can be a two way street, yes it can prevent rain damage but if installed incorrectly then heat will build up during sunny days and create bud rott.
The decision to cover is very location specific.

Ooops, sorry about the name. It's been a long time. I remember the spirit more than the name and there is little difference between Cobain before his was famous and Farmer John in my opinion.

Ya, I'd say Hempfest Seattle is the coolest pot event I've seen all around year after year. Boulder could possibly beat it one day, but it's hard to compete with a coastal atmosphere. Cops and their munchies and "hippy" music was actually insulting. Where I live it's much more than that. It helps Mayo Clinic researchers think. Cut your hair Kieth, cannabis has grown up.

Hempfest looks much more relaxed than the HT events, like sub says its like a big picnic, I remember seeing sub at another event in some old weed nerds, think it was in Oregon somewhere as Dave was there, wasn't very big at all but was just full of old hippies and seemed real chilled. That's more my sort of event.

Jsmaine, qrazy train is mold and mildew resistant and also grow very fast so hopefully is done before the rainy season by you.

Hempfest absolutely was like a giant picnic, everywhere u turned there were happy people on a beautiful day next to the calm Puget sound, it was euphoric. Iwill ddefinitely be attending every eventiI possibly can that tga is at. Mushmouth gave me all the info I needed to grow the Dr.who that I needed, and I can't wait to chill with the weed nerds again

Do you think it would be all set just covering just for the night with plastic? I def wouldn't leave it on the all day.

What's it like for you, when you haven't had any weed for a couple months, then get high? .... I would say,.. what was it like the first few times you had gotten high... But some people don't get blown until they have smoked a few times... It gives me, a feeling of being anesthetized. You know like how you feel when you wake up after a surgery, from the gas they give you...

Here are a couple of tips: Cut a chunk out of the middle of big buds to allow moisture to escape. What was once a huge cola, now looks like a cola with 2 big buds.
I use Zero Tolerance as well. I use a small arts and crafts paint brush and paint the nodes at the base of the buds. No matter what you do though, if you can't keep them out of the rain, I have found there is little hope of avoiding mold and bud rot. It is, along with slugs, the bane of my existence.

I actually do that regularly and it's not like the first time. Those receptors are long gone. BUT that said, it does pack a wallop when you go dry for a few weeks then have some again. I really don't notice a great difference between 2 weeks and 2 months, though.

As for anesthesia, I wouldn't know. I've never had to be given anything other than local anesthetics for minor surgeries (although, there was that one time where I was given some Morphine XXX-caine cocktail that gave me visions of dancing soap bars and promptly made me puke...which I think was the goal because something was blocking my digestion...a bad veggie burger that wasn't on the menu anymore at Burger King IIRC... eh, it beats a stomach pump, I guess. Clever use of drugs, actually!)
