OOPSY !

Been slacking on the updates.....

Here's some20161208_173330.jpg in their 1 gallon pots and the others are the one that was shown in the Root Riot with a little root doing a loop out and back in to the rooting cube.
Well that was a first for me! It turned out to be a twin! The other thing I thought was a root. Popped up and was a whole nother plant!
I carefully removed it and set her in her own Root Riot cube..

Well, as you can see, she survived! The 2 are the smaller ones in Solo cups (pay no attention to any labeled name on the cup - their being reused) still and the littlest one is the second one up, that got transplanted to her own cube....This explains the smaller slower plant size..The big question is with those 2. Will they run the same or run longer and make up size? We'll see, won't we!

Other notes: They were transplanted to my 30 day base soil and are thriving. I will trans once more to 2 gallon pots and mix a 2 parts bloom to 1 part base soil mix for the last leg..
As always - 100% organic, water only soils. They do get a watering with kelp extract at every transplant - Rooting excelerant !

As usual. I'm not counting days.....I just watch for done and harvest (you get old and time don't matter as you have plenty)

Hmm, em-bare-ass-ing,,,need to clean that table...

Well next update in a week er so!

Grow on !

Hi everyone,
I just snapped some pics of my Skywalker and thought that I would share them.

She is turning out to be really stretchy. I thought that it was the fact that I sprouted her in a Rapid Rooter in a plastic Ziploc bag that I placed in a dark bathroom cabinet and let it stretch too much, but my C99x is starting to stretch pretty bad too, so I am starting to think that maybe my Plantmax HPS is making them stretch too much.

My very first run using this Plantmax HPS made some Godzilla sized plants, but I chalked that up to the fact that I grew those in exclusively HPS light. This grow is different; I started them with a MH and then switched bulbs for flowering and I think that I could still end up with Audrey sized plants.

Anyway, thanks for looking. Any and all comments or criticisms would be very much appreciated. Happy growing!

Wow that one is very lanky and sparse.

Yeah bro, its not good on yield but it is some good smoke.
Id agree

I had a 1oz plant (dutch pro)that got stunted so yield wasnt surprising. Taste amazing already, actually taste most like skywalker Ive grown in the past. Most of the nugs are pure popcorn
I had a 2oz plant (bio-canna) that has a sharp pungent(maybe fuel) smell. Taste is okay, but im sure it will develop more with time. Still not the tightest of nugs by any means.
Also had a 3oz plant (biocanna) that has a rotten mango smell. Taste pretty much translates from the smell. this plant i expected to be super dense, but when it dried, it turned (as someone mentioned earlier) into a shitload of seperated foxtails. It still ended up with more weight, but isnt much prettier.
I have another plant i haven weighed yet but im sure its between 1-2, and another plant(was a larfy mess) I made into shatter and smoked away already.

All in all good smoke and maybe had i ran a 1000 more of the time, the nugs wouldve been tighter, IDK

I totally forgot until now, I am using just the basic nutes from Rx Green Solutions so maybe that's why my plant is so stretchy. Of course the light probably has a lot to do with it too, but I am not using the entire line of Rx Green Solutions so maybe that's why my Skywalker is stretching a lot more than my C99x which I am using just the Dutch Pro basic nutes on that. Just a thought. Anyway, everyone have a good one!

BIG NEWS!

The little buggers are blooming. ALL of them!
For me it's the cooler temps running in the grow building vs the breeding place. Simple average N rates and the 18/6 isn't helping for height - right along with the balanced spectrum T5's running close for tight node spacing. To me they're an average hight for auto's and will yield around a zip + (except for the 2 that were from a dual plant seed! They will not get bigger and the little one will be a blunt yield at best.....

NOW for the BIG NEWS! @Kingrow1 @Uberknot

One of the FEM auto skywalker seeds is a MALE!!!!! FULL ON BALLS kiddies!!!!!
Didn't have my phone with me, so pic's on Monday !!!!
I've got the PROOF that FEM'ed seeds are NO guarantee of 100% female!

I will be starting a whole new thread on this WITH those pics and clear details on temps and popping!
BECAUSE - it's environmental,,,in why it went MALE!!!

see yah! (back to football and bongs).....

You personnally made these seeds?

Nope! These where made by Mephisto Genetics. I got a set of Skywalker auto FEM seeds to join in on the comparative grow at the behest of the Vault people. I normally don't play with auto's but, being free and right when I was able to restart my op back up. It kinda sounded fun.

So "Commercially produced" seeds that are Feminized. Most likely S1 class seeds.

So 2 very interesting things happened with these seeds.
1: I had a dual "embryo" seed that was viable. It popped and I carefully divided the seedlings. These 2 seedlings are slow developing and will not produce at normal levels at all.
2: A full on, real deal, balls dropping Male plant came from these "FEMINIZED" seeds. The significance here is that there is NO guarantee of 100% female offspring from "FEMINIZED" seeds. This is now the third time I have personally had this happen from "Selfed" seeds!

Here is the proof positive to the long running contention that "Femmed" seeds only produce females......IS WRONG!

I have no use for a Ruderalis genetics, so out this will go!

Those have potential. When autos stretch and get big like that normally big buds follow. Not always but most of the time.

I will try and cross reference this across the biology of plants, of the two starting points are you thinking that this is a female plant showing as a male or a female x female cross that made a male?

Thanks! I was starting to get really bummed out because I thought that it would have very sparse bud sites that weren't very big at all because the plant is too big. I was really hoping for a smaller plant that had tons of buds on it, but it's starting out like the other ones. Idk, I think it has a month or a month and a half to go so we'll see, but so far I'm kind of bummed about how big it is so far.
