My 3rd humble harvest is underway; the first two being back in the 2012 time frame.

2 out of the 5 are reeeelllyyy small w/ trikes @ roughly 80-90% cloudy....

The 3 remaining are bigger but still tiny compared to the ballers that know that they are doing. :-) I'll harvest them at the first hint of amber.

I'm "bud washing" in 1 gallon of filtered water w/ roughly 2-3 ounces of 3% hydrogen peroxide, and rinse in 1 gallon of plain filtered water.

*** Quick update on Khalifa Genetic's presentation/preservation of the Rasol Village pure Sativa; an Indian landrace with a flowering time
of 11-15 weeks ***

Let's listen to Al on how to raise these plants; it would be good for all of us to have Al call a lot of the shots so we can learn about the nuances of these holy gifts of life.

The next step - up-sizing- (Per Aladdin) ... "These will stretch a lot but If you keep them in these 1/2 gal pots till about week 4-5 of flowering, it should help you minimize their stretch. Also, topping off, pinching, training them is great."

So, that is plan for now!

Stay up, friends :-)

Oops.... 8-) LOL, second time I've done this... what a stoner

Hopefully she makes the micro-transplant. :-)

I'll double check but I think that means the 7 Cambodian seeds and the 1 Strawberry Banana Grape all germinated.

Update on the first true 11/13 from seed in my tent - Brothers Grimm Apollo Haze -

They are rocking it pretty hard... When the time comes I just have to decide what fabric to up-size into and whether to scrog or stake. I think I have a couple weeks to decide.

I'm going to take the training wheels off and start to grow with more confidence. I still have so much to learn but I think I have a good foundation to learn from... "less is more" and I will continue to stay humble and show humility out of respect for the plant and others that have helped by sharing so much knowledge. Thank you and I want to pass that on!

Stay high brothers! :-)

OK, I see some amber trichomes on this girl finally 8-) ! She is either a Peaches F2 or OG Credsy... I had them all labeled but fucked up when up-sizing by forgetting to transfer their ID tags... oh well, both sound like cool strains, hehe...

I topped and/or fim'd and was aggressive w/ HST ((basically to see what would happen; 2 of them hermed ;-) )) ; what was left were perfect little Bonzai trees. :-) Can't wait to figure out the yield after a proper dry, which they will get.

They started in a make shift veg tent, a cheap but effective LED from Amazon, before finishing life under 11/13 lighting from Alibaba. I posted links earlier in the thread if interested. All of them have been great budget lights.

I'll harvest this one tonight and take the other two when amber shows.

Have a great weekend, growers... and don't worry, be happy...

Loving this...

4. Keeping the bottom cleaned up

With scrogging, you are going for big top colas, and thus you are pushing production into the top of the plant. Once your top starts thickening up, you will slowly want to pick off all leaves and little shoots below the screen. This prevents the plant from spending energy on less productive shake buds, and leaves the production for the giant colas we all love to taste.

5 grams dried on the smallest from the Greenhand plants. Does that qualify for any records? LOL!

Hung dry for 5 days in 57ish RH and 66F-ish / 19C.

I didn't do any fancy trim or anything... the buds where too small 8-) This is just sugar-leaf over teeny baby buds.

I'll tell you, tho... it's sticky and smokes incredibly well - clean earthy taste with an almost zero harsh, smooth, yet a very substantial smoke... you don't come away feeling like you didn't get a good taste.

It sets you back for a moment, head-rush-y style, like good pot should... Later on the high turns into a very shoulder/neck relaxing/deeper breaths type of physical/mental well-being experience. Relaxing and uplifting ... couch-lock euphoria..

Really good for laughter, humor, etc.. couldn't stop laughing while watching a comedy video. just what the dr. ordered...Laughter!

* Smoked from a 11" glass bong, over a 60-90 min. session.

Thanks to all who contribute to helping others grow their medicine! Everyone has to start somewhere and some of us got lucky with early mentors while some us don't/didn't. There are so many ways to grow this plant. Just find a way that you like... start small and just don't rush it. Enjoy the process and learn from the successes and failures; as there will be many of both!

Stay at it!

Ok, time to get rid of the males as they appear on the Rasol's! Super busy day but I'll add some more pics of these gorgeous happy plants when I can today. Pretty sure this close up is a male, so setting that aside. Group pic of the remaining 8 after a nice water spray.

Imagine tomorrow when I look closer we'll find at least another male.

Stay lifted, friends!

edit, added a few more pics from their bedtime. :-)

I feel like I should be able to tell the sex on this Rasoli without a magnifying glass... any guesses?

This second Rasoli plant should be little bit easier for ya to tell...

Hope everyone is coping with our new reality. There has never been a better time to start growing, anything. Organic vegetables and fruits are worth the effort it takes to grow them.

The Rasoli's have been transplanted into 2 gallon fabric pots! All the other strains in here are doing well and I'll try to give a couple updates soon.

Godspeed to all of you. Stay safe!

Hi Toad,

Happy to see that your plants are doing great! You seem to be managing the stretch very well so far.
Don't hesitate to pinch the tops many times throughout the length of the flowering stretch (Without topping off).

How's the stem smell on the Cambodians?

Take care,
Al

I lurked through a few pages and will share my positive results at 12/12 from seed

I started growing 10 years ago with 12/12 from seed and I don't know why I quit. I still do some on occasion.
I got good results. most over 2oz some hit 4!

I think they are the original auto grows. it only takes a week or two more. None of my autos reached 2oz.

The only down side I found was the huge fat cola can develop some bud rot. I lost an oz of the other 4oz plant not knowing what it was. and an oz of a 2oz plant that was one big fat cola.

this was Super Skunk 4oz in a 4g pot

Thanks for sharing that info! I want to know what you mean? I'm growing a sativa myself and it keeps stretching without end. Do you mean FIM method or pinch in some other way?
