What does that expression mean to you guys? What do you think "truth" and "free" mean to you?

To me that saying means that if you seek the truth then you can attain a clear healthy conscious. If you are in denial or harbouring resentment anger or guilt, these emotions rob you of mental freedom. Since the mind and the body are all connected....if you are truthful with yourself and others....then you have personal freedom. A clear mind.

Thats is my opnion of what the saying means without goig into too much elaboration.

simple being honest means you don't get tangled up in lies and deceit therefore you are free but i think we all tend to spin little white lies from time to time or hell at least i have simply because i don't like to hurt peoples feelings when they ask me point blank questions that i know they really don't wanna know the truth or what i perceive as truth. is it wrong to go around the whole truth sometimes to spare a persons feelings? Peace
