How long are we gonna sit back and let then compare this bullshit "Spice" to our sacred plant. It time to stand up my fellow avengers. No longer will we lay down while the state makes a mockery of our crop by passing this synthetic shit out to our kids. We need to march on the capitol. Hope I'm not alone here. Let's fight for our rights.

Fight what exactly? Yeah, there's synthetic cannabinoids out there, but people should be able to do what they want. If someone wants to go out and buy some Spice, let them. Who are you to say they are not allowed? We fought to legalize weed, why would we try to infringe others people right to use what they want? I see what you are saying, Spice in dangerous, and I am not contesting that. But instead of being a nanny and trying to tell people what they can or cannot do, educate

Freedom of speech man, people can say what they want. Spice is a synthetic cannabinoid, there's nothing you can do about that.

There are lots of people on this board who would like to control what other people do, I'm sure you'll find some support.

Telling someone to change their mind doesn't work. They've got to do so on their own. I appreciate your point, but I think drawing reasonable distinctions between the two and informing the public (editorial to the Denver Post or something, perhaps) of those distinctions would get you a lot farther than a march on the capital.

Let's fight for our rights? The way I see it the only right you are proposing is taking away other people's right to choose wtf they want to do with their money, and control their lifestyle choices.

BTW: I heard NSA is hiring people if you want to help "the cause".

Who ever said anything about spice being anything like a synthetic cbd?

"That shit is most likely an analog of a synthetic cannabinoid w/ a similar molecular structure to THC. It is sold under the names, "Herbal blends, spice, K2, plant fertilizer", using acetone as a solvent for laying the chemical onto natural herbal blends."

and you said exactly what i said "plant nutrients using acetone as a solvent for laying the chemical on potpourri (herbal blend)"

I just saw the news and saw the article that probably started this thread. Appears 3 people have checked into the DU hospital in the past hour, and 5 into the main hospital in the past 24 hours all over some blend. They received a sample of the blend are throwing it into testing right away. I'm curious to see what junk is in this nasty batch and hope all the people effected are ok.

Bob said cannabinoid which is general term. CBD as you mentioned is a specific medicinal cnoid of mmj that spice blends as far as I know have never claimed to mimic. Either way it's prob not in the best interest to use now a days as the analog of analogs are very untested, and 90%+ is coming out of China.

All I'm sayin is look at the big picture more people start getting sick off this next thing you know they blame pot the mases don't give a Fuck to research what it really is next thing you know they vote to make it all illegal again. Big picture. Plus I'm always down to kick some ass too.

I could actually see it going the other way. All the media reports I've seen make clear that it's synthetic, and not actual marijuana. This rash if hospitalizations due to "synthetic marijuana" may make more people think, "well, real marijuana never did that, so why is it illegal again?" I think this could lead to even greater acceptance, even if only the lesser of evils, in some people's minds.

Cheers!
