The stretch...

I have two autos that are twenty four days from seed... I'm running CFLS so they are close to the lights... I want to put them on the floor of my tent cause I need the room... How much will it affect them if they are not directly getting the light? Should I add more lights or do they have to be super close? Oh yeah,the main question!!! Will it stretch them out really bad? I don't want that to happen... This is my first time growing autos,and I haven't grown anything in a long time,so I want to do this right!!!

Cfls don't penetrate more than 6" or so. That's why they need to be very close to work. As close as 1-2" if you pay attention not to let them toich and burn. The farther away the light it will stretch because the clfs jist don't het that deep to begin with. I know most begginers don't want to shell mega bucks(been there) but you have 2 options. Get more cfl and hand them arpund each plant in a circle instead of directly on top or get a better light you van hang further up and not have the stretch from weak light.

Sooooo, I bought this ""upgraded"" led full spectrum 300w light made by Galaxyhydro...it suppossedly is similar to a cree cxb3070 3000k... got it on Amazon...not the cob that I wanted,but my tent is not big enough for the light...fuck it,we'll see what it does...
