you have done a brilliant job mexi, some people don't understand the harvesting and curing process is just as important as the other stages of growing, can be tricky but looks like you've nailed it m8. did u end up making any hash or not?
 
Thanks Mrbudsmoker. Have not made hash yet. It's still a toss up between hash or honey oil. I really like the butane oil methode described in fdd"s butane oil thread. a friend brought some down a few weeks ago done like that. And I liked it alot. I would also like to get some of those hash bags. bubble bags? I'll just freeze all the shake'n'stuff till I make up my mind. Peace.:mrgreen:
 
I'm loading up a bowl right now. Honey oil (of grapefruit) with master kush and big bud.

I smoke bowls now, just like you yanks. I've given up the tobacco, so no more european type spliffs for me.

I heard that europeans smoked blunts and joints with tobacoo... I tried it once when I didn't have enough weed to roll a blunt... It was yuuukkkkyyyy... but I smoked it...

I've got a spare bedroom you could rent. But then we won't have a grow room. But then there are two of us to do a huge guerilla grow:hump:. I was just looking for fdd's honey oil thread, it shows ya how step by step. Gonna try it tonite before we play poker.

yeah i believe you, if it's done right. I hate iso oil, gives me a wicked high for 5 mins then a wicked headach for hours...just not worth it. Well I think we will scrap the oil idea for tonite. Don't have the proper supplies. I was thinking i would use a paper coffee filter and a soda bottle. I know that's not the proper screen, Do you know if a re-usable coffee filter would work? I don't know the micron size? I've never seen it done so I don't want to start thinking up ways to do this. If I had even a little experience with it I'm sure I would be able to come up with something.

what about cutting a peice of the re-usable filter to fit the cap of a soda bottle. Then a small hole in the bottom of the bottle for the butane?
 
Job well done bro....those are some nice looking budz....It only will get better as it cures...so keep that in mind. You might still get that couch lock high you were looking for:hump:

Hahaha Great!!!!!!!!!! My brother posted that one. Trust me his spelling is getting better. But what he meant was that we did not want a couch lock. Not that I don't like it but I don't need to spend the next while ONLY on the couch.lol would sooner have alot of good all day smoke and buy a bag of heavy couch for the late night movies etc.


But you are right. Every day the high is getting heavier and heavier. I won't complain, just have to go out and buy some more vids,games,and a kid to mow the lawn.:hump::hump::hump:

First attemp at honey oil butane method worked!!!
Used a 600ml pepsi bottle.
made 5 small holes in lid.
made a ring out of plastic seal
to hold reusable coffee screen in lid.
placed a paper coffe filter over outside of lid.
hole on bottom for butane.
filled with good ground sideways trim and some old trim.
A few good buds for measure!
let her buck!!!!
newbies do not try this at home!!!!!!

All I can say is WOW!!!! This stuff is like crack weed. So clean compared to iso oil. No burn out. No headaches! Love it!!!!!

It's so tacky you can pick it up! or leave your fingerprints in it.

welcome to the world of oil my friend. i am glad to see this is finally finding it's place in our community. i love your method. i use the honey bee extractor and find it is just to small. your idea is simple and efficient. i nominate you for "best of".:peace:
 
So is there a thread on how to do this somewhere.....and how long does something like that last, and how much leaf did you need to make that much oil......how do you store it and what not
 
I see you found the thread zekedogg. Thanks fdd. And Thank fdd zeke. I didn't get the wieght of the leaf and trimmins I used but the oil in the picture used about 1/3 to 1/2 of a 600ml bottle. That had the good trim from my harvest plus a few grams of the popcorn. The second run I used a bunch of my old leaves and the stock from this harvest. I also filled the bottle all the way up.

Fdd. the bigger container is nice but I found with the funneling effect of a bottle it clogs very easy if you grind it up. Will try this agian with it less chopped next time.
 
wat!!!, i've been missing out on oil??? my harvest is coming up in a few weeks. i'd love to know some tips on how to go about going to do this please.
 
nice looking oil... thats made just from the garbage parts of the plants????
I use a PVC pipe for my extractor... because I read somewear that THC dosnt stick to PVC or some shit like that... But theres a hole shitload of sticky shit on the inside so... they probably lied... Butane oil kicks ass!!!... just hard to get alot of it...
