Alright fellas....and gals!! finally broke down and got a camera!! its work in progress cause I believe in silent pride and no one is helping me!! i have done all this by myself and its a BITCH to get 2X8 sheets of drywall and osb up the 10 ft ceilin!!! but it is done right!! the room is 6H x 8 1/2W x 16L. the big box is for my momma's!!

the wooden box is what i made that is attached to the roof vent and my furnace filter slides in and filters for my fresh air intake which is one 4 in. and one 6 in. just havent got to do the duct work yet!!

everything can still be vented correctly and nice temps and everything but, sometimes they can still see you.
You should watch Barry Coopers Never get busted =]

oh yeah i always buy from HTG they're great with shipping. they always put what ever u buy in a plain brown box.

IR cannot see thru walls and the exhaust for the 2 400 watt light with CMH's get exhausted to the other half of the attic which is another 20 X 60... what does barry cooper know!!?? he got busted!!! LMFAO!!! IR will only see a few degrees increase in temp....i.e..2-3 at the peak which is normal for a shop!! plus i have R-19 insulation for the entire outside of drywall... very well insulated and ALMOST air tight ... or WILL BE!!

You should really think about running water up there. I have an attic grow room that looks very similar. Here I will throw up some pics.

Here is the room after I put in the insulation

This is an ac vent i put in I just used the one that went to my bathroom. I also now have a cool air intake from my bedroom closet that I have hooked up my lights to.

My water line... This is so much better than having to log up water its a total lifesaver. I now have a hose and water wand connected to it.


I put up foil faced insulation board because it was much easier to handle then drywall by myself .


I also put white plastic over that recently because I was getting some air leaks so I used spray adhesive to attach it and it worked like a charm.


Here is a pic of it up and running (week 1 of flower) I have 1600 watts in there I also added a pond liner to my floor because the thinner plastic I was using kept getting holes. The pond liner is the shit I could flood my room now and not have a problem.


Anyway I have ran this room for a few runs now both in summer and winter and it stays about the same temp as the rest of my house. I also plan on doing another room almost just like it on the other side. If you have any questions feel free to ask since I have pretty much have ran though all my kinks already.

thx fellas!! it is a passion for sure!!! i would love to nick but im in the boonies and i have a well!! and my shop that the room is in is 100 yrds behind the house so i would have to dig another well or run a line from my house pump!! so this good ol boy is gunna run 5 gal water jugs for now!! a lil hard work never killed nobody,....it mighta hurt them but never killed 'em!!! LOL
