The right pot for second grow

Hi all,

I am currently using Plastic 11L pots to grow x5 Autos in a 4x2 Tent. 5 was a real push in the 4x2 & they are stuffed into it right now, day 51.
My next grow will be immediately after the first are finished, fingers crossed they make it to the finish line in good shape.

I'm using Biobizz Light Mix and their nutrients and will continue to do so on the next grow.

Next grow will be:
• x4 Autos
- Durban Poison (x1)
- Sour Diesel (x1)
- Super Lemon Haze (x1)
- White Widow x Crystal Meth (x1)

Is it a good idea to change to smart pots or air pots for the next grow?
Also, I read somewhere that if using air pots that the size should be doubled in order to water them less. Is this true?
Out of interest, is it a good idea to plant the tap root off to the side as opposed to the centre in order to get the most out of LST ?

Thank you

Air pots are ok. They dry out fast though from every direction, just like fabric pots.
Bigger pots only need less water with small plants. A monster in a large pot will need the same frequency of watering as a smaller plant in a little container
