NO that is an incandescent light, they are worthless. if you ahve access to home depot or lowes they sell security lights in the form of HPS and MH. get one of those and a good extension cord, wire it up and there ya go.

idk, its incandescent and that usually means more electricty less output. unless thats some new fancy kind. but i didnt see anything about lumens or actual spectrum numbers.

you would need a lot of those then the heat would be too intense for the plant and you would need a pretty good circulation system

alright thanks for the input, im going to go to my hydro shop this weekend, do you think they would sell a small 70 or 100 watt hps and ballast?

No they don't make conversion bulbs in that size.
If you have the money just get a used hps, don't buy something cheap at a hydro shop because it won't be a good deal. You can get a used 250hps for around $40 maybe $50 something shipped if you just look around a bit.

Look on ebay and craislist. Craigslist is great since it's local, no shipping and with heavy ballasts that can make a big difference.

Or just settle on cfl's and get the biggest ones you can find at wallmart or whatever. 4-6 150w equivalent is a good start, but use as many as you can once flowering starts.
