This guy had nothing to add too, because it doesn't really matter who was President. Carter was no worse than Reagan...

Reagan also thought it was ok for the govt to steal someones property over a joint of weed, which he signed into law, and mandatory minimums for drug users, which he also signed into law. His trickle down theory was ass backwards and he had nothing to do with the Berlin Wall which he and other repugs take credit for. He set the country back 20 years just as every republican president has done.

Ummm, I haven't seen any of your democratic buddies like Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton doing much to change the laws. :dunce:

Who the fuck do you think was president for a decade before the Berlin wall came down? :dunce:

Of course he wasn't solely responsible but I think he played a teeny little role don't you?

If you are right about republican presidents all setting us back 20 years that means it's about 1895! :dunce:

Carter started an attempt to legalize marijuana but got such flack over it from republicans he knew it would be political suicide.

Nope. It was due to political changes in the east, civil unrest in East Germany and of course Gorbachev's progressive leadership. Reagan just happened to be president at the time, nothing more.

What, you had nothing substantive to say so you took to belittling your opponent? I'll remember this next time I see you and your buddies complaining that all the left does is attack.

Now, do you care to add something substantive? Or do you want to throw insults, much like a child?

Who really gives a crap what Regan thought of socialized medicine? Richard Nixon actually tried to implement a plan even more “liberal” then the health care reform law that was just past. I wish Nixon had been successful.

But, what is the point? That since Regan objected to “socialized medicine” the teabaggers think their GOD made a statement that “proves” the law just passed is bad?

I am not bashing Regan; he had some noteworthy accomplishments. It is just that it has no relevance to current events.

What I don’t understand is why these smelly-assed teabag hicks don’t crawl back into the pile of crap from which they came.

wow im not a huge fan of reagan either.
but he did set the stage for the berlin wall to come down. i was a soldier at that time so i know .he also bankrupted the USSR.
he also set the stage for the largest economic expansion in world history.
that being said he also made a flight to japan after he got out of office and made a speech for a million bucks.
that was when a million bucks was worth something.
tell me he wasnt a crook too.
