Small world. We stayed at Wailea a few times, once for 12 days. We did a FABULOUS Chef's extravangaza at the Kea Lani resort - elegant setting/tables on the resort grounds by the pacific, syncopized serving, stuff like lobster marinated in butter over night by world class chef Ming Tsai, soups, Honolulu asian veggies from a Honolulu chef, desserts, interfacing personally with the chefs as they prepared each course, champagne, wines paired with each course, live band....6 hours of pure bliss. Opulent and decadent fer sure. Most fun was interacting with the other diners at your tables who knew the dishes and what to look for.
