Either you're a Democrat during elections or you're not. You would have had 4 years to criticize HRC. AFTER Trump was stopped and discarded.

It was an invitation for an explanation. I have my ideas but wouldn't mind hearing from others. Voter suppression is very effective as suppressing black voters. I'm interested in hearing from others what they know about this.

I'd say the voter ID laws disproportionately affect minorities because a lot of african americans and latinos live in urban areas where they have access to mass transit, so there is less need to own a car, and therefor less of a likelihood that they will have a drivers license.

That's just a guess (so please don't freak out and start tossing around the racism accusations), so maybe I'm over simplifying it.

Agree, there are a lot of issues with getting a drivers license that go away when you don't need to drive. It's not so bad where I live now but when I lived in CA, you had to give up the entire afternoon for a visit at the DMV to renew a license. An error in the records could trigger a visit to the county courthouse and another afternoon lost a the DMV. I've also heard stories from black people in the south who claim unequal treatment when trying to correct errors in their records. Also if you don't have a car, simply getting to the DMV can be difficult, especially when it's several hours away.

I was looking at this and found an article that claims that voter ID disproportionately affects certain groups including the elderly and minorities. Yet, a conclusion in this article was the affect on elections was not important.

I think the article actually highlights that voter ID laws are stalling progress in improving voter turnout and they do affect elections by keeping Black, Hispanic and elderly turnout rates down.

Changing goal posts always works when you know you were wrong.

I have figured out how to not let it happen again. Remove money from politics and end Electoral College. I think I've been pretty clear on that the entire time.

I find it ironic you call for politicians to "fucking listen", yet every time I say something to you, it goes in one ear and out the other.

"Listening" is not going to solve anything, until you remove the underlying cause of the issue(s). But I've gone over this numerous times already... I'd love to hear your thoughts, besides your normal diatribe.
