The plant with the most yield

the widow finnishes quick, but the NL#5/haze keeps growing during the 12/12. also they say the NL#5/haze is the pinnacle of cannabis breeding today. which says alot. but there again you could vegg the widow for longer to increase yeild. but the NL#5/Haze has got the sativa buzz. iam not making the decision any easier am i

sure you are, now i just got to find some nl5/haze from somewhere.......... how long does she take to finish? also how sativa dominant do you think she is, like as a ratio. like WW is 60/40 sativa to indica. what do you think nl5/haze is?:peace:

Genetics aren't that simple. There are so many attributes to take into account.

Cross breeding plants, especially with hundreds if not thousands of seeds, is almost like fertilizing a woman and saying that the baby will be this or that looking like this.. except you get way more children.

I'm too tired to go into a bio lesson right now.. but it is pretty simple.. you'll have to cross-breed back and forth until you get exactly what you are looking for. When buying seeds the bank should be able to tell you the ratio, flowering period, and average yield.

If not, you may not want to deal with them.

hey enigma, still waiting for to check out your build plants :D umm ya i know genetics are rather complicated. this guy was telling me that nl5xhaze of w/e is supposed to be the killer stuff. i havent researched it yet myself, so i figured i would ask the grower himself what the attributes of the strain are. im not sure if he made the cross himself or he bought the seeds. i guess i assumed he bought the seeds and i was curious what the indica to sativa ratio is! i also assumed he might know! thanks for the class lesson though :D

I have those going right now,,,, 1st pic is blueberry and 2nd pic is the white widow,,, hashberry is very nice too.....:peace:................

did you start flowering them at the same time? the WW looks SOOO much more frosted than the BB. have you smoked either b4?

They both started flowering on the same day but since the BB was topped, it is not as frosted, but its catching up...... I have smoked the BB before with others with rave reviews thats why I cloned the hell out of it, now theres enough for everyone,, and the smell while its growing and even when its dryed and being smoked is excellent,,, very, very, great high.........:peace:.......

indica flowers faster than sativas but bigger yields? i disagree. it depends on how big you let them get before 12/12.

ive just done some cheese clone only in soil with 400hps and got for my first plant 3 1/2 oz pure dry and the second that wasnt ready to 2wks after first i got 4 1/2 and i was constantly picking as id ran out and couldnt wait no patience but ive heard from sources that the 'ICE' strain is topping nearly 10oz a plant but it all depends on how and were your growing it
if i had 5 plants in that same area under a 400hps would i yield the same per plant?? i dont know i think it would be less as the plants would be getting less lumens is this correct

i think you may get slightly less, 5 seems reasonable for 400w, maybe slightly under lit, if you want it consistent or better you could add a 600 or 1000w for a few hundred dollars off ebay. :peace:

yeah i was thinking maybe up it to a 600hps or just add another 400hps propably more lumens if i just add a 4oohps

It would be simpler, and less costly, to just go with 1 1000w HPS then to use multiple expensive lamps and fixtures.

i thought you were going aero? is that a print of an aero or DWC? its hard to tell by your pic and they both could look similar plus its not specified whether there would be airstones or misters in there!

i told you i would get shit from someone! lol :D it also depends on the flowering period too. im not sure if this guy want to wait 12 weeks to harvest an indoor crop, im assuming. if you going for an 8 week cycle and you vegg them for the same time the indica will more than likely outyield the sativa! i guess im assuming things though!

but i know email is a smart guy and knows what he talking about for sure! i could be wrong, im just saying my 2 cents. i have a limited hands on experience with pot, but they dont commercially grow pure sativias for a reason, and its not because it gives a bad high!!!

edit- commercially grown- meaning large scale indoors! also i shouldnt say they DONT commercially grow sativas, but ive never heard of it!
