The pinnacle of gangstar rap...

I am far removed from any sense of The Yankee Streets, yet I have listened to hiphop for many years, sifting through the dross, selecting the artists who either sound wicked, in terms of lyrics or vocal delivery and production...and recently, I have been re-embracing the bouncy horror of Mobb Deep...especially the Infamous and Hell on Earth albums.

To my knowledge, they are the kings of Gangster Rap...along with Big L.

Stoner music made by stoners, for stoners...

Kottonmouth Kings have SOME good songs.
KMK.. Really?? no fooling? hahh

In my opinion.. lol..
If You Want 'The Pinnacle of Ganster Rap' Then Listen to 'IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE'?

Anything from his 2 later albums.. 'Revolutionary Vol.2' or 'The 3rd World' is fuckin' prolific. If you're still hungry for some real beats then check out his first 'Revolutionary vol.1'

Immortal Technique is more conscience hip-hop than gangster rap, but I agree there is none better than him.

Yeah, i can't disagree w/ you there. But overall it's all grouped together in my music genre list's lol

The best thing about Immortal are the information-packed rants on top of beats. So good.
