The people behind the violence in the American protests of George Floyd.

I bet when the video gets posted we would be able to find trolls pushing the exact language that the people brainwashed into believing the right wing lies that Trump and the Republicans have been using as their political platform use.

If I was those people I would take all my electronic devices to the shop and ask for them to scrub them all of spyware that is sending all of their data to people that use it to better attack them.

What happened: About 200 protesters showed up on the anniversary of George Floyd's murder to demonstrate against fascist police presence in Portland last night. Some shit got broke, riot declared, five arrested.

I don't know what the right wing media are saying about it. Here is local coverage:

That's it folks. Yes, it's disruptive and some innocent shop keeper's windows are now broken.

It's a reminder that fascist leaders and their cops remain.

lmao, outside of the broken windows and graffiti that is pretty much sums up most weekends. One side of me a neighbor is setting off fireworks from now until about october, and the other side likes to get a giant bonfire going which makes that one look small about 20 feet from the tree line separating our lots.

Faux news coverage was pretty mundane. I guess the right wing celebrity opinion-entertainment show hosts haven't woken up from their drug and sex orgies yet. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I'd almost prefer that the right wing media were outraged and seething with fake news on this. It's a different story now that Trump is muzzled and Proud Boys are on the back foot. They can't just come to Portland to, as they say, "Fxxk them up".

The proud boys might be charged with conspiracy to commit insurrection, anybody who was a member would be subject to the law, whether they went to Washington or not. I wouldn't be surprised if the FBI was keeping a close eye on the situation in Portland and other right wing hotbeds, that's where the Capital insurrectionist are to be found, among them.

They are not attending protests for now. They weren't there yesterday, or maybe they were but came without their costumes. I don't think anybody was checking credentials in that crowd of 200.

This is a really interesting documentary.

From about 1:34:20 to 1:41 it really is stark the difference between how the Trump cult/(Tea Party 2.0) is handled with kids gloves and the social justice protests after George Floyd was murdered. And then full circle back to Jan 6th 2021.

I think the line @That the lady had was really on point. Something along the lines of:

"You have able bodied heavily armed white people in front of court houses, threatening law enforcement, for their right to get a hair cut. The same people that they wanted to get a haircut from, were now in the street unarmed, asking/demanding that white people and cops stop killing them, do you see how different it is to be white and black in this country."

Here is part 2 if anyone is interested:

So I got bored and turned to Fox. It never lasts long, and never disappoints in feeding the troll.

After a few shitty remarks and the would be nazi insurrectionist Josh Hawly (whatever SP, the fist guy) talking about Religious discrimination decision by SCOTUS. Fox turned to some blonde cliche Carley Shimkus on Fox to snowflake about someone who said they were 'canceled' for saying shitty things about 'criticizing the rioters'.

She is 'positively outraged' (turned out to be sarcasm to normalize being shitty is my guess) about how he has lost so much.

And then the host (Brian K.) shows 'one of the posts' that is semi normal, but I am guessing the way the host says 'one' means that there are more. Then after she drops the 'woke', they snowflake a bit more, then she calls 'left say that cancel culture doesn't exist' then quotes Seth Rogan, and then says something about how people start to 'self-censor', and how she feels for people who don't have a platform because posts they made as kids cost them opportunity.

It is amazing how little accountability and rhythm of methods to make other people angry.

I don't know everything I am trying to say, I apologize. But the blatant programming of emotional roller coasters hitting the key propaganda (the protests over the summer, anger, sarcasm, snowflake, out to get us, commercial (time's up can't talk anymore in real life and the people programmed into this programming say something shitty and walk away hurting relationships).

Then a commercial pops up and is pushing "Inflation" propaganda using semi recognizable and enjoyable old white guy flashing gold coins.

And the Fox propaganda pops back on and after a voice drone talks a couple seconds you have a white guy on a 9/11 call screaming 'HELP, HELP', and it is about 'SURGE IN CRIME' and a bunch of stats about crime as they flash pictures of a educated black woman (Mayor Bottoms).

It would be interesting to see if you could find a regular pattern in the way Fox hits the major emotions (again I have no idea the correct terminology) and use that to figure out a way to time talking to people stuck in this propaganda/troll loop by predicting how people are responding with their tone.

The same people pushing the false narratives blaming the FBI on 1/6, are also the ones pushing the propaganda about the protests over the summer too.

A St. Louis couple who gained notoriety for waving guns at racial justice protesters last summer pleaded guilty Thursday to misdemeanor charges and agreed to give up the guns they used during the confrontation.

Video and photographs of rifle-wielding Mark McCloskey and pistol-toting Patricia McCloskey in front of their mansion on June 28 captured the attention of the country, including then-president Donald Trump, who spoke out in defense of the couple. Trump and other Republicans considered the McCloskeys law-abiding homeowners defending their property. Others saw the couple as overly aggressive toward protesters who were marching through the upscale gated community to Mayor Lyda Krewson’s (D) house amid nationwide protests after a police officer killed George Floyd in Minneapolis.

The couple, both personal injury attorneys, faced felony firearm charges after the menacing display in front of their marble-faced palazzo home but ultimately pleaded guilty to lesser charges.

Patricia McCloskey, 61, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor harassment and was fined $2,000. Mark McCloskey, 63, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor fourth-degree assault and was fined $750.

Neither will face jail time.

Because the charges are misdemeanors, the couple can continue practicing law in Missouri.

The couple has touted themselves as conservative defenders against “the liberal mob,” earning newfound celebrity status and a speaking slot at the Republican National Convention. In May, Mark McCloskey announced that he was running for U.S. Senate as a Republican, using the images from that tense faceoff with protesters in his campaign ads.

In a statement Thursday, Mark McCloskey unapologetically defended his reaction to what he called “an angry mob” that “threatened” his family and home.

“The prosecutor dropped all charges against me, except for a claim that I put other people in imminent fear of physical harm,” he said. “That’s exactly what I did, that’s what the guns were for. And any time the mob comes and threatens me, I’ll do the same thing again to protect my family.”

The couple was indicted by a grand jury in October on charges of unlawful use of a weapon and evidence tampering, both felonies, and could have gone to jail if convicted.

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner, who charged the couple in July, was removed as the prosecutor by Circuit Judge David Mason after citing the case in campaign fundraising emails.

Mason appointed special prosecutor Richard Callahan, who opted to agree to reduced charges. On Thursday, Callahan said in a statement that he considered several factors when deciding how to resolve the case, including “the age and lack of a criminal record for the McCloskey’s, the fact they initially called the police, and the fact that no one was hurt and no shots were fired.”

“The protestors on the other hand were a racially mixed and peaceful group, including women and children, who simply made a wrong turn on their way to protest in front of the mayor’s house,” Callahan continued, adding that there was no evidence that any of the protesters were armed.

The judge accepted the couple’s pleas Thursday, but he denied their request to donate Mark McCloskey’s rifle to raise funds, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

Missouri Gov. Mike Parson (R) said he would pardon the couple if they were convicted. Parson has not received any formal request from the McCloskeys or their attorneys since they pleaded guilty, spokeswoman Kelli Jones said Thursday.

The video encapsulates how white people feel, that no longer being the dominant group in the country terrifies them. After so many years of having an advantage, fairness and equality feels like slavery. They basically think they're going to be the new black people. There's so much delicious irony in it all.

Id just qualify a little more than half of melanin-lite voters feel like that.
And at least 44% of them disagree.

That's spot on.

Those creepy 50 violated a court order to stop using teargas and rubber bullets days that order was issued. They beat and harassed peaceful protesters while coddling Proud Boys and cooperating with violent right wing terrorists. And they do not recognize any limits on what they can do.

Portland has a problem with fascists in city government and on the police force. They are still there and this is not over.
