I appreciate your wisdom on the matter since you are, in fact, a male. :) testosterone I can appreciate...assholes, not so much ;) no pun to you, speaking of my ex. And a few others I've encountered lol..

Women are complex creatures who just need to be understood..most men are too simple minded to understand that :)
thankfully I've met one that isn't too simple minded, at least, most of the time LOL
Ah thanks ;-) I may have insight, experience is a good teacher, I prefer observation unless there is fun to be had in participating.

Truth be told I fail to heed at times what I know to be best and yep I open my mouth and I will tell you what you'd think I would of learned by now. Well sort of my tongue is much tamer and I nibble on occasion and only bite when my tail has been stepped on. I have a short tail now so that is hard to do . Picking your battles right?

Yeah I wouldn't use the word complex more like a labyrinth. You just got to feel your way around and know where the exits are! :bigjoint:

Yeah for real...picking your battles..I am ending one relationship and a new one is forming for me, I'm trying to be optimistic as I can but it's hard considering the miles between us. I just wish life didn't have to be so damn hard and I could just breathe...and relax! and trusting men is really hard for me. Really damn hard.

Hey battles and boundaries. boundaries are important in relationships and especially in forming new ones. I can remember being really attracted to this one gal I though I could trust her and opened up and in the long run my skeletons were used to beat me down with. But hey I've learned from all of it boundaries, trust is a line that gets moved from social acquaintance to causal friendship to what I call I intertested/ing party and then there's exclusive bonding kinda where one finds out if they can actually stand to be around each (here is where most mistake are made IMHO :-P). All along this way there is a underlay of subconscious decisions being made based on personal observance and other senses that help set boundaries as the relationship transitions from one aspect to another and sometimes no further depending are experience to what occurs when boundaries change which exposes ourselves to emotional pain and even physical pain if we ignore serious signs.

Nonetheless, I pray you have all the wisdom and insight you need as your forage forth and find someone to help manage and overcome the challenges in life. Through it all don't give up or settle but trust for worry has a way of fanning fear that we may have to go it all alone. We don't have to settle for that for one we are not alone for God is near to all His children, second there is a proverb better a quite home then one shared with a contentious soul. Third the seasons we have in our lives are but for a moment to bring out the best in us, let your best be all you have in you but do so being as they say wise as a serpent and gentle as a dove. Not rushing and taking my time testing all things and holding on what is good and shaking the dust of my sandals where it has been bad, and forgiving everyone their trespasses for mine are far greater then then what is owed to me, and what I owe has been paid for in blood so how can I hold anything against anyone considering what has been done for me.

I just feel like I'm learning how to live again...without a man hovering nearby. I'm fed up with being treated
like a piece of meat, an obligation... there has to be more to life than this...ya know what I mean?? I'm at peace with my break up now. Got the answers I needed finally. Now I just have to figure out what's next for me in my life.
