Top booster is for flower week 5, check one of the PDF links in posts above. Use it when you would normally use PK13/14.

what you go back to?
I went back to Dyna Bloom. I used this for the last few years, gave the H&G a chance but just didn't seem as easy or as good. Saved a bunch of money using the Dyna Bloom too as its a one part and highly concentrated. Do you all like the budXL? I was thinking of adding that to the Dyna Bloom to see what happens.

I dont think Bud XL has done jack shit to be honest.

Need some input guys. I am trying to figure out the right order for premixing my nutrients.
Using the whole h&g line + Cal Mag + Sweet Raw + Silica + Regen A Root and Wilt guard by CX Hydroponics
Also, using RO so my PPM is about 5-20 to start. And growing in Promix HP Soiless Medium.
I premix in the following order:

1. Regen A Root
2. Wilt Guard
3. Silica (Week 1-5)
4. Cal Mag
6. Sweet Raw (Week 5-to finish)
7. A
8. B
9. Drip Clean
10. Root Excell, Amino, Bud XL.
11. MOAB (Week 6-to finish)

After everything added my PH is comfortably 6.0.

So is this the right order? Because some people been telling me before adding any additives the first thing needs to be added is A & B. Please advice. Thanks

You are supposed to add the base then the additives. I add A, wait a few minutes because I have a pump mixing the water so wait longer if you mix by hand, add B, wait a few more minutes. Then I add CalMag and MagAmped because they lower the PH. I PH the water and then add the rest of the additives.

Also, how long do you plan on keeping this "pre-mixed" solution? I don't think it will stay good for very long unless it is chilled and/or oxygenated but I could be way off on that one.

Good info. You are another person to tell me to add Base before additive. Which confirms I been doing it wrong.
I mean how bad was adding base after additives? Is that a big mess up or its not that bad?
I also been recommended to get MagAmped and two more products by cutting edge, but Ive been a little lazy and confused on when to use them. Is MagAmped really that good?
I premix my nutrients right before the feed. Never keep them for more an hour. I also got a little giant pump helping me premix ))))

Your going to get aqua flakes right? And if your interested I've got a little recipe for H&G hat rocks hard. Way less stuff than what you have posted and bud shots to back it up if you'd like.

Yes I am using aqua flakes right now. Okay results but nothing crazy. Mind to share lol )))

Aqua flakes a&b, drip, rapid start (from gh, better than excellerator), multi zen, bud xl, top booster, shooting powder, cal mag, sweet original berry. All this is for flower obviously, as per chart. Sweet starts in week 2 of flower and cal mag is every watering full strength one watering half the next. IMO the key to pro mix is more feedings per week.

Not bad very similiar to mine... I feed every watering and a put about 2 gal into the girls every 4th or 5th day. They seem to dry up perfectly by that time. I just switched from Shooting Poweder to MOAB.. way cheaper. Will see if there are any difference.

I don't know how bad it is to mix the base after the additives but I like to follow the instructions on things like this. People much smarter than me created these products and the feed chart and I will slightly modify the formula but I don't stray very far. I like MagAmped because it is straight Mg whereas CalMag has Cal in it and I don't want to add Cal along with the Mg if that is not my goal. It just gives me more options to fine tune the solution to fit my plants' needs.

OK I thought you were mixing it for use days later and I don't think that would be ideal.

I pretty much stick to the feed charts that I printed off of the US H&G website with these exceptions:
  • I don't use Algen Extract because it is a fucking mess and doesn't mix well.
  • I don't go full strength on the base because it burns my plants, the most I will go is 85%.
  • I don't go full strength on Top Shooter (Shooting Powder) or Nitrogen Boost either b/c that will burn the fuck out of the plants
  • I supplement with CalMag, MagAmped, and compost tea (Heisenberg's method)

I have gotten great results using H&G and although I don't have much else to compare to myself b/c that's all I have used I do have friends that grow with other nutes and I think H&G way outperforms their nutes. I also run hydro and CO2 so it's not an apples to apples comparison so I cannot say with 100% certainty that H&G nutes are the key to my setup I can say for sure that it works and it works well, it's just very very expensive.

P.S. - The last grow I yielded 2 pounds under 1000 watts with CO2.

Thanks for your response!
I do use base before additives but only for h&g add-ons just like their chart says but not Cal Mag, Sweet ect... but I will definitely adjust accordingly. I also run Current Culture hydro setup. Ever since I started using Drip Clean my roots are white as pearls.
Right now I am trying out the Promix in 5 gal pots. The best i gotten was 1.1 per light last run but I super fucked shit up I had my ph at 6.5 lol because i though i was using soil (Newbie) mistake.
But dame 2 per light is way good.
Do you have any input on C02 bags? I got some in my room but I think with my exhaust and intake the c02 bags are a waste?

I haven't used any of the CO2 bags but you are correct, you want as close to a sealed room as possible when running CO2. I can't run a completely sealed room because of my current accomodations but I have Sentinel CHHC-4 environmental controllers that control the intake and exhaust fans so that they only turn on when the room needs to be cooled. That way the CO2 stays in the tent as long as it can before it gets exhausted with the warm air. My setup is not perfect but it works well.

I plan on giving H&G products a go for my 3rd crop which kicks off in June. I checked out the feeding schedule on their website for soil, and I read a bunch on here but wanted to make sure I'm getting the right products before I place my order.

My medium will be Pro-Mix this go around, so not sure if I should be looking at the line for Soil or the 1-Component or Bio 1-Component line/schedule.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

For Promix you need to be using Aqua Flakes. Also, Since its a soiless medium your ph needs to be 5.8

Anyone using Moab with H&G if so do u really cut ur base in half?
I tried it once because it was supposed to help stop/slow the stretch in flower but it did the opposite. The same thing happened to a buddy of mine. Neither of us plan on using it again.
