"The $2.4 million haul is the most money raised by the NRA's political arm in one month since June 2003, the last month when electronic federal records were readily available. It surpasses the $1.1 million and $1.5 million raised in January and February 2013, the two months after the Sandy Hook school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.

Most of the donations, $1.9 million of the $2.4 million total, came from small donors who gave less than $200."

i'm canadian if you couldn't tell. i don't give a fuck about the NRA or politics. voting doesn't matter they all take their marching orders from the same paymasters. but everyone should own a gun.

So, why are you so happy about the NRA getting a massive influx in cash from who knows where?

I wish I were in a position to be able to donate a good amount myself..it at least help by giving my time at a NRA shooting range for kids or adults.. national wild turkey federation does good things with involving kids in outdoor activities and teaching the how to properly shoot and take care of guns....keep setting records

Lots of organizations help children. Why not support one like Ronald mcMcDonald foundation , or St Jude's?

Beacuse when I was a kid I was ALWAYS in the woods.. hunting..shooting for target practice..just being outdoors in that kind of setting..I'm not saying one child organization is best but I think I would relate more to that type..and I also think it's a good thing for kids to get into..and the kids that are already into it it's good to help the learn
