thats not a recommendation you fool, but the typical measurements when driven at exactly 2200mA at 25°C. those min/man values are the outliers of the measurements, as you usually test more than one board and not all boards behave exactly the same due to manufacturing. the max current the board can run at is 5000mA, which you could have easily spotted on HLG website in the specs:

Oh, i thought Stephen rated the Diablo L/70-B/50.
That's probably only stated because its directly from Samsung who has to inform about this stuff.
Now who here read on what that meant?
EDITTED: Im sure Stephen will do his best to incorporate these ratings on future in-house boards. Im assuming these are directly from Samsung @Stephenj37826 ?

Can somebody help me out with building my own fixture? I just need to be pointed in the right direction. I know how to follow directions so even if this is my first build I know I won’t screw it up. But I have 2 electric sky es300 v2’s right now. I want to build something equivalent or close to the electric sky using hlg diy kits. Basically I want it to cover a 4x4 for flower. Thx

where abouts in the world are you? DIY strips or the Australian grow light boards are best imo

The QB 96 Elite V2, QB 288 V2 R Spec, and the new QB 648+(if you have the ceiling height) are all good options for flowering in a 4x4 space. Do you have a preference?

It's hard to draw a direct comparison because as far as I know Electric Sky doesn't say what they use for diodes in their lights. The description says "Top-Bin Mid Power Wideband diodes."
The ES300 is especially geared for flowering and has a CCT of 2300k and a CRI of 91. None of HLG'S boards have a color temperature that low. The QB 288 V2 RSpec is the closest at 3150-3250k and has a CRI of 90. The R Spec is more efficient than the Electric Sky lights. It's worth noting that the Electric Sky fixture output is measured in biological photon flux (300 nm-800nm) rather than the more commonly used photosynthetic photon flux (400nm-700nm). Electric Sky said they use this measurement because of the amount of red light their lights put out in the 700nm+ range.

I don’t have a preference but I don’t have ceiling height. I think the height of the tent will be around 78”. The qb288 are those the same ones they use on the hlg 550? If so those are the ones I want. And if I get those do they come with the heatsink and everything else? Driver plug etc?

Just remember, it's dumb babbling back and forth like this that gets threads closed for good. And it's all for nothing. Because at the end of the day, we're all just here spewing our points to random people and it doesn't change any of their opinions.
Unless of course you try the civil route, and try to explain your points and help the person you're disagreeing with, learn why you think they're Incorrect. I'd really love to see more of THAT going on here.
