The mysterious life of my mystery nug

I didn't get any pics of CB out of the room last night. These pics will give you an idea of wat they look like. I ended up chopping 3 of my PJ's though. I do have pics from the other night when the clones went in the dirt. There are 2 shots of each plant, the top and the roots. The purple CB didn't get as many roots as the other, and less than I will usually transplant with. I hope the make it!:bigjoint:

These rooted up just fine and didn't take any longer than the PJ..

Not hard at all. I'm a little worried that the 2 with smaller roots needed a couple more days in the bubbler, but so far they seem happy.

She'll be around for a while as long as she straightens up and grow right. :)

She sure is! I think we'll be finding out petty soon. They look rough tonight. They should have got watered last night but after taking the clones I forgot... It's day 57 any way, most of the white hairs are on the very bottom buds that are going in the hash bag anyway. All the bigger buds are to big for the branches they can't hold stay up at all anymore. I'll be back in a little bit with pics and you'll see why I'm going to start calling them Charlie Brown.

Well here they are... I only got the purple trimmed up last night. It was leafy as fuck!! I'm not expecting a lot of weight from her but what I do get should make up for it with quality. The greener one on the other hand has more big buds and doesn't seem to be a leafy through the buds.

While trimming up the lower popcorn buds, I'd start at the base of the bud taking leaves off, and by the time got to the top there would only be caxyl in a single layer up the stem and a cluster of 5 or 6 at the top. They all got cut up and put in the trim bag. I hope to get about 1/2 oz of trim from her for some oil.

OK on to the pics...

This is the green version of Charlie Brown...

Your buds shouldn't grow upside down...

Now on to Purple Charlie...

Not getting as many trichs on those new little leaves...

Both together, green in the back left and purple on the right...

Purple trimmed up...

Awesome! I have a mystery plant, I found the seed on a bar that I was drinking at one night, it's called Barbagseed, it isn't going to turn out purple though, it's lime green at the mo....I think I'll try a purple girl this year outdoor, they just look lovely!

Peace bru,

I hope so too! The samples I took 2 weeks ago had a good taste but I'm sure it will be better now. Good luck on your mystery, and thanks for following along!!:peace:

dude that purple is gonna be killer shit.

It looks like it! My mom tried one of the early sample and gave it the highest praise! I can't wait to try it with a few amber heads!!:eyesmoke:

Thanks for your thoughts! I got lucky in a way... She sure was a bitch to grow. Could never figure out what she wanted!! Just like most women in my life! :) Hopefully the Barbagseed turns out good!! I think I remember reading about her in the club thread. You guys move so fast in there it's hard to keep up some times.:joint:

I have pics of the finish of the Green Charlie trimming that should make it up here tonight. And I'm going to post this here as well. My video from last night!

So I was doing a little reading on a thread named "Brain Food" Towards the end it was talking of different pheontypes and had this to say

"3. Hybrid Drug Phenotypes
a) Creeper Phenotype - This phenotype has appeared in several domestic Cannabis crops and it is a frequent phenotype in certain hybrid strains. It has not yet been determined whether this trait is genetically controlled (dominant or recessive), but efforts to develop a true-breeding strain of creepers are meeting with partial success. This phenotype appears when the main stalk of the seedling has grown to about 1 meter (3 feet) in height. It then begins to bend at approximately the middle of the stalk, up to 70 degrees from the vertical, usually in the direction of the sun. Subsequently, the first limbs sag until they touch the ground and begin to grow back up. In extremely loose mulch and humid conditions the limbs will occasionally root along the bottom surface. Possibly as a result of increased light exposure, the primary limbs continue to branch once or twice, creating wide frond-like limbs of buds resembling South Indian strains. This phenotype usually produces very high flower yields. The leaves of these creeper phenotype plants are nearly always of medium size with 7-11 long, narrow, highly serrated leaflets."

Creeper?? maybe lol was just thinkin about CB :)

Good info MtMJ! Explains the shape of the plant, just not the funky leaves.:joint:

HAHA no not grapes lol!! It did smell like black liquorice early in flower! It still does a little but has a skunky flavor in there too!!:hump:

right those funky leaves.. almost forgot.. PH problem? lol jk man

speakin of funky leaves, anyone with knowlege of different strains and their growth patterns may be able help me narrow down the possibilities of my mystery nug. Neat leaves! worth a look at my grow journal to see them.

Here are the pics from the finishing trim of Green Charlie. They both went in paper bags tonight to help them dry better. I wasn't happy with the last batch of PJ that seems to have dried to fast and got almost crispy. A day in a jar has seemed to help, but they still aren't as dense as they earlier ones. Here are the pics!
