Im glad this thread got dug back up towards the top. People need to stop buying into the "it makes my buds sweeter" BS.

It however should have an effect on yield, potency, and density of buds in a good way, if used correctly.

Molasses works because it feeds the soil, not the plant. Its like steroids for the fungi and beneficial bacteria in your soil. These are what break the organic additives in your soil down into usable nutrients for the plant, Not to mention it contains some micro and macro nutrients that plants need.

When used for this purpose, why wouldnt you feed through veg? You dont only want your soil thriving in flower..? You also want it thriving in veg to promote growth and more bud sites.

Bro carbos do feed micro organisms but you want your biology feeding on minerals not sugars. To enliven your media molasses is helpful but its no panacea for successful cultivation of microorganisms that will benefit your grow.

Molasses provides a load of iron, sulfur and potassium. Use it too often and it will fuck with your mineral ratios.

Yep. It's always tempting to repeat something when our plants respond positively. A little is good, a lot may fuck em up. If it's a first, consider the possibility that they were deficient; starving for whatever. You gave them what they needed & it hit the spot. Do it again & your plants may NOT be happy about it. Patience is a virtue...

I use earth juice hi brix molasses at 5 ml/gal for only 3 feeds in flower during weeks 3, 4, and 5 with my recipe

I think more than 5 ml/gal is too much

How about that Mammoth P stuff - anybody seen that at the hydro shop? it's like a million dollars for a little bottle of specialized microbes that unlock P and supposedly give you massive yields

they'd have to send me some free samples before i believe anything about it
