You must be a real noob. Let's see your giant buds, bud. MG, Epsom salts and molasses is all you need to grow amazing flowers. There is no bad taste, as most people falsely repeat the misconceptions of others. Keep paying outrageous prices for ferts if you feel the need, but none of these overpriced ferts and additives are needed for good growth. Don't be misled by fancy logos or outrageous claims by manufacturers . Well balanced ferts with micro nutrients is all that is needed to produce good plants.

Before I went Hydro, I was a MG user and I had excellent results. I recommend an organic seed starter mix for the first 14 days. The cotelydon leaves will let you know when it is time to start feeding (transplant into MG)

Dolomitic lime has Mg as well, along with some Ca.
I use Dolomite lime in my F&D lava rock budding system, regardless of fertilizer brand, to lower my ph to a proper level. If it's too low I add some ashes. It's best to use digital scales and weigh your ferts. When I use mg ferts for flowers(the blue stuff) I use one rounded teaspoon(approx) of mg ferts to every six gallons of water. It does grow nice crystal.

Serapis--Great tip on the starter mix for seedlings and cuttings. This is good info for anyone using pre-charged nutrients in the soil media. The reason MG gets such a bad rap is because many new growers don't realize the cuttings and seedlings need to develop some roots and start to grow before transplant. Reading the plants for clues of when to fertilize is just as necessary as reading the fert labels.

PS Have to agree with you Gee Tee, your plants are only half way through the flower cycle in the pics. Your buds will swell to double the pic size when fully ripe, nice grow. Post us some pics when you have cut and trimmed. Looks great.

I started MG Bloom Booster on second water change, using 6-5 gal. DWC gonna give it a shot. got reggie MG for and nutes for cloning and rooting.. Not using any soil. Am I in the wrong thread? using outdoor feeding mixture method. no flowers to brag about yet.. using 600 watt growzilla.
Noticed this, molasses and epsom salt. I haven't learned this yet.. how much oer gallon? Or L ??

its because in the past mirecal grow used to have chemicals in it that weren't good to smoke or ingest. Wether they changed their formula,im not sure but i bet old growers just stuck to what they knew and stayed away from the stuff.
