what do you think of using that whole screen for a bed? you could buy the material and sew up a custom bed that goes wall to wall. im sure u have your reasons for doing it the way you have shown above . just an alternative i thought id toss out there. also smart pot will custom make any size, dimension, shape, for u. looks really good btw

I know you're a very busy man but I want to run something by you real quick... I will be running 5 gal smart pots with supersoil under 2 600s and a 470w LED in the middle. Do you think with proper mainlining for 8 heads and all things going right, I can expect 1oz/gal or close to it?

that was my original thought, following more what you do, but i decided i wanted air space all around, to have room for some small fans blowing up to the canopy, cause i am going to run it thick...also i wanted it just big enough where i can pull it in and out while i am building the manifold, before i install the screen....i have the material, and the sewing machine, so i was close to going that route...Up here, the Amish folk will custom make any smart pot we want for like 5 bucks each...it is a pretty sweet deal.

yep, but i tell you what...you have to have your "game face" on everyday, to reach the threshold.......but that is plenty of light, and a resonable goal with that amount of soil.....good luck!

flipped the switch on my 8 head og last night now see what she can do!might have jumped the gun a little bit on you Nugs i am liking the nice uniform growth and if i can work things out in my system where i can veg them like they need WELL i might be a convert lol.guess i should say i run a perpetual system so timing is everything. And i upgraded room just a little added another 400 watts (halide) Think i got my shit dialed in finally now to reap the rewards :weed: And here's a quick question should i run hps or halide in my 400?i got a 1000 hps already in room and kinda wanting to throw in the uv and blue from the halide but still and open discussion on whether i get better results this way?have read so many articles on this one says it helps the next it doesn't ,so what are your thoughts on on adding some blue in the bud cycle.

awesome bro!...i have to say i am really glad to have you aboard....here is the thing, and you are not the first one to fall of the boat, but after all the mainifold building, pinching, pruning etc....and time it takes, can be discouraging.... but when she hits full-throttle, and starts hitting on all 8 cylinders with a real flat canopy...there is a "lightbulb" moment!....when she is finally allowed to explode, it is really a thing of beauty......then growers are like, "now i get it".......and it just keeps getting better all the way up to the scale at the end!

yep that's where they are lol! The problem i am having is it wants to branch out really bad.the side branches are growing over the tops ? I am also going to try some different strains i think maybe i choose a bad one for mainlining (og kush) I bet my shark attack would kick ass mainlined .like i said before i'm not the most patient person lol but hell I'm giving it my best.

@ thegrowerMOJO, Might i throw out a 400w CMH as an option for your 400? It will give you both more reds, and your blues and uvb's

I am thinking of going the CMH route on my next indoor grow. The Kessil LED was nice but I want some bang!

tonight the expected low temp is 25 degrees....you can clearly see that the chances of success come WAY down without the use of a greenie or shelter....if my plants were in the ground, it would be a disaster....light frost is one thing, but a hard freeze is another....will rent a heater for the greenie to keep it at about 45 degrees....bobbin' and weavin' again...i feel for my neighbors who are scrambling to pull their plants in today unfinished....every year the area is flooded with low/mid grade premie/larfy/green bud.....and going with all "early" strains can be limiting as well as far as quality is concerned....that is the main reason we have been growing Wappa for the 4th year now, high quality and early...i could bring her in tonight, but she will be much, much better in a week.....the late August New Moon on the 17th really made for a late harvest worldwide.....next year the New moon falls on the 6th!....much easier to work with, esp. for us growers in the high lattitudes.....have a dank weekend...nugs

I like that you're up early. A wise man once said, "Early to bed, early to rise. Makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise!

Damn i hate to hear that Nugs!I'm waiting to hear from my buddy he's about 200 miles north of you he was so looking forward to this year but after hearing you i think he might be in trouble.Only thing he's running that would be ready would be my shark attack clones and i seriously doubt they're even ready yet.Not sure about your setup but can you pull in some compost piles to help heat your greenhouse? also water barrels will help hold off a frost.every little thing helps sometimes but then again propane heaters work very well :bigjoint:
