All you mainline guys will love galactic jack. She loves to be topped and bent and bounces back unbelievably fast. I staked all my phenos of it so the tops were horizontal and by the next day u wouldn't even be able to tell I trained them other than there being stakes in the pots. Check er out guys

Hey ya'll...here are a few photos of my 2 mainlined Critical Kush at 4 weeks 12/12. Sorry about the HPS light shots...can't be arsed to pull them out of the tent for photos, and I kind of tried to color correct them and...now they look weird...hah! Just wondering if any of you know why the edges of some of the leaves are curling up a bit (you can see them in the second picture most)? The plants seem to be thriving, from what I can tell (this is my first grow), but not sure if this is symptomatic of a nutrient lockout, etc.

They look good, probably due to heat stress

Take your pics 10 min before or after lights out with a flash camera....then you'll really be capturing them.

Yeah man, I was wondering if it was heat stress at all. But the temperature in my tent never exceeds 75, and my infrared thermometer which I use on the plant itself well into the lights on schedule, never reads past 79. Weird! They don't feel crispy or anything. I'm keeping an eye on them, but...not sure what else to do. Thanks man!

ETA: I'll try to take a pic right before lights on or after lights off. Thanks :)

Hi guys, just thought I'd drop by and say thanx to nugbuckets and all the other contributors of this thread. I came across the mainline technique on another site 6 months ago when starting off some outdoor plants and gotta say it's great! Had mucked around with some other training techniques previously, but mainline is great for keeping plants short and discrete. Admittedly I didn't follow through properly after the first few cuts, but the hub works wonders all the same. I'm working on some new seedlings now and will be putting them in 12/12 to sort out gender later in the week before doing a proper indoor mainline grow. Looking forward to doing it right! Thanx again for putting this out there and in such fine detail

So much amazing info in this thread! I'm wondering what experience people have had out there growing large outdoor plants mainlined. I know Nugs started this to do mostly shorter plants but how do they react and influence quality and quantity when grown on a large outdoor level?

How long into flower before she showed her sex? Is that Pennywise from TGA?
Yeah, it's TGA's pennywise. I forced sexed it when it was around 24 days old from seed. Took her about 7 days to show sex and threw her back into veg for about 4 more weeks.

Hey mainline friends!

everyone is looking fantastic, i'm doing the lazy copy and paste:

  • HELLO Friends!

Okay so Day 87 of 12/12 for the Critical Kush's, After a very strenuous look at all 3 plants trichomes, I decided to chop CK 1 today. CK1 is the one that has the most purple in color...

As i was chopping the smell of lemons, diesel, even all OG type smells were real dank. Very sticky, the smell is very unique so far to anything i have ever come across, very intrested in how this one cures.

The keif I smoked from trimming was amazing, very cerebral, calming, but very strong. For a minute i felt overcome with many thoughts had to take a deep breath, then the calmness took over, if this is any indication of the smoke, it will be very potent, and flavorful.

Heres the CK1 harvest day: 87 days of 12/12:

    The Manifold :

    The Budz:

    ..…
…. Now they are up and hanging … & looking very yummy!

Thanks guys,

Yeah Mo I love the technique, and will definitely love to run mainlines again and fine tune the way it goes, This particular CK had several side branches that arose after flower, i left em after a certain point, as you can see in the stem shots.... I most definitely achieved more main buds... I have 2 more Ck's going just put them in the dark to try and force the finish...been almost 90 days since flip for them. They both had almost 100% cloudy trichs...but no sign of amber, but the hairs just kept producing and producing...you can see on this one how hairy it still is, but i paid attention to the trichs... and fear of late hermie problems with a alleged 8 week strain had me worried, has me worried lol, thats why the other 2 were put in the dark yesterday. The short stocky pheno took very well to the mainlining.

The smell off this particular Ck's is so unique, i swear its like it has haze in its gene pool i keep smelling haze throughout the drying room. Then the smells of fuel, and Og earth type smells prevail when touched...

Bottom line, mainling is a great way to go, i recommend it

I think indoor can take a little longer in the winter. What size light are you using? Are you heating the space?

600w 3x3x6 tent...

I really haven't had to heat the space, some nights, my lows were 61, but usually im steady at 78-82F lights on and 66F-70F lights off...
